Nope. Hypothyroidism is caused by lack of thyroid hormone. Synthroid is just a synthetic version form of thyroid hormone. It is replacing exactly what you are missing. There is no natural form of thyroid hormone. Even if there were, thyroid treatment requires close monitoring so your levels don't get too high or low.
