Poor you, toothache is some of the worst pain, you can not get enough pain killer in this wretched situation, lol.
A hot as you can handle very salty rinse should take away the swelling.
Goodluck with it I hope the suffering is short lived.

ORAJEL WILL ONLY WORK ON LOCAL GUM PAIN. USING TOO MUCH NUMB THE ORAL TISSUES BUT WILL NOT BE EFFECTIVE FOR DENTAL PAIN.
ADVIL WILL WORK WELL IF TAKEN IN APPROPRIATE QUANTITIES UNTIL A DENTIST IS SEEN.

You should just use a little bit like about this size of a small seed because once it gets in your saliva it travels all around your mouth and gets you numb everywhere

WHEN THE AREA AROUND THE TOOTH IS SWOLLEN TO THE POINT THAT YOU CAN'T SEE THE TOOTH ANYMORE,YOU NEED TO GET IT PULLED. WHEN YOUR YOUR TONGUE AND BOTTOM LIP ARE NUMB THAN THAT'S TOO MUCH ORAJEL. WHEN YOU TRY TOO DRINK OUT OF A GLASS AND DRIBBLE ALL OVER YOUR SHIRT INSTEAD, THAT'S TO MUCH.... JUST GET IT PULLED ALREADY !!

It is usually contra-indicated in any patient who presents with a side-effect that the blood from their haemorraging tongue stump ruins the taste of their McDonalds.
