Is it normal to have a "fishy" smell a couple of days after your period is done?

It's weird because sometimes I can smell a mild fishy odor at arousal, during sex and after sex ... especially a couple of days after my period is done. I have been to the doctor numerous times and they always say I am good to go with no infections. But I still smell something. I take a bath every single day, sometimes twice a day. If I douche the smell will usually go a way for a couple of weeks, but as I understand it it's not good to douche. It really bothers me and makes me feel uncomfortable. I have tried the Summers Eve Feminine Wash and it temporarily gets rid of the odor.

Also, I recently felt like I had another urinary tract infection and when I went to my doctor they said the cultures came back negative. The weird thing is the urine was strong and had an odor like a urinary tract infection. There was mild burning and frequent urination but the lab didn't find any cultures.

What could be causing these things?

Please don't think I am being unkind...but do you drink liquor, beer ,wine.
All that stuff dehydrated you and your urine becomes really strong and smells strongly like cat PE, or fish , or ammonia.
I am not judging your intake, but add 5 bottles of spring water a day with some cranberry juice every day, especially if you drink and your body might calm down.
Also consider the drinking and how to cut down IF that is the problem.

Try an over the counter product called refresh - its at most drug stores....its caused by totally normal ph ranges.
