im in my teens.. just had open inguinal hernia surgery a week ago... my recovery time is supposed to be 3 to 4 weeks... they also sewed up some muscle tissue so that there is an even slimmer chance of return and stuff.... but when do you think it would be ok to you know masturbate lol...
im still in some pain but i can walk now... he just said not to do anything strenuous or lift anything heaver than ten pounds till i see him 2 weeks from now

I'd wait about another week - you really don't want to hurt yourself doing it, and it can cause some serious muscle spasms in that exact location. When you reach a state where you don't have pain just sitting around, and you aren't sore to the touch in that area...then it's probably ok. Just be gentle on yourself the first few times!

You should wait four weeks and allow the surgery to heal. When you masturbate and have an orgasm your muscles naturally tense and contract. This is not good right after surgery. This operation is serious and if you don't rest your body you can have complications later On.

Well this is a new one:). I would say that if you feel NO pain while doing it, and doing it does not pull at your stiches-- it should be ok.
