Should toothbrush be called teethbrush since its brushing not just a tooth but the entire teeth? If not, why?

I have used not only a tooth brush, but a hair brush, and nail clipper.

This is Prez Bush and Its official for now on its called teethbrush. Oct. 14 is teethbrush day so dont go to work tomorrow

teethbrush doesn't even look or sound right.... leave it as toothbrush.

Naw I'm used to toothbrush so no I don't want it to be changed.
