My mother has a perspiration problem which is baffling the doctors. When she wakes up, her sheets have turned blue in areas where her lower body has been in contact with them. Why?

During gym i broke my nose. It was bleeding severly, so i had to go to the emergency room. It is all swollen now and and under my eye. I also have a black eye. I've been icing it, but i want the swelling to go down quickly. What is the best thing to do? If i just have to wait, how long is it likely to take?

I browse through these diet and fitness questions and they are all the same. Do you people really believe that there is anything more to losing weight than good, honest hard work at the home/gym and eating sensibly? Some of you people are lazy and want the easy way out. Guess what? There is absolutely no easy way out. If you want real answers seek out a professional, not people's opinions on Yahoo Answers!! I expect negative feedback and that's fine but some of you need a reality check.

I'm pretty sure in my case it is due to low testosterone, but I can't find it without it combined with estrogen. I have hypothryoidism, and fibromyalgia and I am on multiple medications for the fibro pain. I've been on the meds for years. Since I quit working, I've been able to cut down on some of the meds, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any suggestions?

Its kind of sad, but when I wake up in the morning all I can think is whether or not I should have breakfast and then I think what I'll have for lunch.

I am trying to lose weight and food is all I think about.

I try to eat healthy, but I swear I could eat a sprig of broccoli raw and I gain a pound!

Nothing seems to work for me.

How can I just stop thinking about food?!

I've been on Prozac for about 2 months now... I take a pill in the morning and 150mg of Wellbutrin in the afternoon. I've lost about 10 pounds over the last couple of months, but I haven't been eating well either and was feeling somewhat depressed. I'm doing much better emotionally and eating much better also. I'm only 100 pounds now and I've been hearing that Prozac can cause weight loss; even my doctor said that was a possiblity. Has anyone had weight loss or weight gain with Prozac, or Wellbutrin even? I've been on the Wellbutrin (was on twice daily before the Prozac) for 3 years and I don't think it has any affect on my weight at all. Thanks.

He told me that drugs are bad and he could fix any problem that I had down there with an adjustment. I told him I have a hard time staying aroused and it hangs a bit to the left. Well, to make a long story short--he called his nurse in and she asked me to undress. She grabbed my penis and started jerking until it got hard--she said she was doing preperation for the treatment. Anyway, when it got hard the chiropractor came in and did a very painful adjustment on it. He twisted and tried to snap it in two by putting it in between his legs then tried to straighten it out. Is this a real treatment that chiropractors do?

A 2001 study[8] examined the effect of a 3-week period of sexual abstinence followed by masturbation-induced orgasm. It found that abstinence over such periods "does not change the neuroendocrine response to orgasm but does produce elevated levels of testosterone in males."

Ok, so I am in sales. I have been extremely successful this year, hit all my numbers by May for the year.

I also kind of get a charge over knowing who the competing sales rep is. And, I almost want them to know I am competing against them so when I win, they know who beat them.

It seems like I am my own worse enemy. When I am stressed out to the gills, I do great, but get overtired, lose weight, and sleep about 4 hours a night.

But once I get to where I want to be, I miss not being stressed. I miss not having this feeling of desparation. And could really care less about who I am beating.

Am I one of these people who will self destruct just for the thrill of rebuilding and coming back? Is this just an idiosyncracy, or do I have some mild condition?

For the last 3 or so weeks i have had this uncomftable pain in my right ankle.

The pain started in the area between the middle of my ankle and the round looking bone on the side of your foot (sorry, dont know the name of the bone) and its become a little swollen. I wouldnt say its hurting enough to make me really scream out in pain, but its almost a heavy feeling in my ankle, which sometimes feels like its throbbing, just annoying and uncomftable. As the weeks have gone ahead the pain sometimes reaches the back of my achilles.
more recently the pain has also come up in my left ankle in the same place (not as much as in the right ankle though and no pain the left achilles). anyone help me and tell me whats going on?! It hasnt stopped me running about or taking part in activities such as football/soccer. Though i do wear a extra sock and tape the right ankle up.
Your help would be appreciated. Thank You!

My guilt is starting to lead to anxiety b/c I think people will find out about the rude/uncool things I've done. I have not forgiven myself for what I did. I realize I stepped outside of my moral standards and I feel like crap for it. Any suggestions/techniques on how to truly forgive yourself?

I feel like if I can forgive myself, my guilt/anxiety will decrease. Thanks for any help!

Help! My 9 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 5. He's been on Concerta ever since. It really helped him be more successful in school. He started on 18 mg, went to 27, then 36 mg. A relative who came to stay with us noticed that he seemed really "mean" when he took his medicine. Shame on me for not noticing, but I was so used to him being that way, that it became the norm. I started giving him weekends "off" and really saw what our relative meant. His counselor recommended going back to the lowest dose to give him the stimulation he needs, but hopefully lessen the side effects. It still makes him nasty. Without the medicine he is happier, but fidgets so much in school that it is distracting the class.

Have you (or your child) quit Concerta for this reason? What did you switch to? Did it help? I need to contact his doctor, but I was hoping for some help from others who have been there. Thanks.

what i don't understand is why when someone is depressed do people act like they can fix them. i spoke to a counselor and she said that the people in my lives are the ones who are making my depression worse becuase we don't share the same values.

im not sure how to better myself so i can move on with my life. im adopted and people have been looking at me weird.
