Its kind of sad, but when I wake up in the morning all I can think is whether or not I should have breakfast and then I think what I'll have for lunch.

I am trying to lose weight and food is all I think about.

I try to eat healthy, but I swear I could eat a sprig of broccoli raw and I gain a pound!

Nothing seems to work for me.

How can I just stop thinking about food?!

Start exercising more, the high you get is awesome, and youll start thinking about it instead of food.

You need a complete lifestyle change. Always have breakfast, always sit at a table when eating, get a job that occupies a lot of time and requires a lot of energy. Be sure that there are no underlying issues.

Try to keep busy in other ways. Distract yourself as much as you can. I can't keep my mind off of food when I'm not busy during the day.
Even if you are giving yourself silly things to work on, if you keep your mind busy it will distract you.
Also, if you have a support system for your weight loss i find that helpful too - - it is a way of making yourself feel accountable for what you are putting in your mouth.
