I'm 5'3 and only about 90 lbs. I want to gain weight and get up to about 110. But no matter what I try I can't gain the weight. For months now I've been eating as much as I can as often as I can. Even eating normally, I eat more than anyone I know so alot for me is ALOT. But no weight gain! Any tips?
And please, don't tell me things like "just eat junk" or "your so skinny" or "your lucky why would you want to GAIN weight!?". It's very important to me that I gain weight and it also means alot to me that I do it in a healthy manner.

I would start with stuffed french toast and orange juice at IHOP for breakfast. For a morning snack I would have an Icee and nachos from seven-eleven. For lunch I would go to Red Lobster and eat a double portion of the coconut shrimp with pina colada sauce followed by their vanilla bean cheesecake. For dinner on to a great Chinese restaurant and eat sweet and sour chicken and pork and noodles and lots of fried rice. Finally I would top the day off with a piece of my brothers homemade chocolate silk pie. All of these are foods I haven't touched since I was diagnosed five years ago. How about you?

Back in January I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, around that time I noticed that I was getting an overbite. I had braces and all that jazz when I was in jr high/high school and I am 21 now. The doctor I went to when I had my wisdom teeth out said that I would have to have surgery to correct the overbite. Ok so here is the question, recently I started a new job that requires me to speak a lot more than normal and I, and a few other close relatives, have noticed that I have started ti speak with a lisp and that the overbite has gotten larger. At this point in time I can put my pointer finger in the gap without moving my jaw at all. I do have a problem with grinding my teeth at night. I was just wondering if anyone has this happen to them and what had to happen to correct this. I cant speak like with my new job, and I need help. Since I just started this new job, my insurance hasn't kicked in yet, but as soon as it does I am going to the dentist. In the mean time, anyone have any advice. Thank you

who's own husband infected her and then she got so frusturated that she stopped taking the pills and died quicker as a result. What's your thought on that and about that other story of a man who went into an abandoned building with a blanket to die of aids?

My dad even noticed my strange eating habits. What I ate today:

Breakfast: One peach
Lunch: One 100 calorie pack
Dinner: Two breakfast burritos (I made them myself and I think theres about 300 calories each). Two cups of tea, two peaches, two granola bars, and one bowl of strawberry ice cream.

Does that seem like too much? I checked online and it said I should only be eating 1200 calories (I'm 4'11 and weigh 98 pounds. I'm 30% body fat)

When there is an outbreak of a disease for example, and they trace it back to a single source, what is that person called. There is a specific name for that person.

I had an IUD since I have 4 kids and div--found a great guy and thought okay and protected but my IUD started to fall out--my current boyfriend I and I had sex with no condom--not realizing that the IUD was misslodged. I went to the gyn today and he said I have a higher chance of getting preg since my cervix was totally open--ouch--now he wants me to take the morning after pill? Anyone experience this? I am a very smart woman--older than most on here--thought I did the right thing by getting an IUD--just lost on this.

Okay, I just learned to use this glucose reader that a drug rep gave me. I did a test to make sure I am using it correctly. My number is 129. I ate dinner about 2 1/2 hours ago.

Is this a normal number? I cannot find anywhere on the directions to this thing what a normal number is.

I will not eat/drink tonight and will do this again in the morning. What "should" normal numbers be then?

I'm only 17, but in the last year I've gained about 30 pounds. That is such a great amount in such a short time that I know my weight gain is not just the result of "growing" into my adult body.

Last year I was 5'6" and 115lbs. THEN...I started working at burger king. I thought my metabolism was invincible, so I took advantage of all the free food. Burger king food wasn't the only junk I was eating, however. I began eating crap whenever I got bored. And now...30 pounds later...I weigh about 145. It's sp depressing because I can't fit into ANY of my clothes anymore. I'm no taller than I was last year, so I know it's not a height issue.

Is it possible to go back to my 115lb. self? I lost 15lbs. once; but I was on a juice fast and gained it all back once I had a full-sized meal. I want my super fast metabolism back! I promise I won't abuse it again! Please help!

I'm 18, 5'11", 142 pounds and I'm a runner. My resting heart rate is around 52-68 and my blood pressure is anywhere from 140/70 to 160/80. My doctor said not to worry since my diastolic(?) is normal. It's not a matter of diet, exercise, or weight. What's causing this? I had some tests done and I have a large left ventrical. Apparantly thats nothing to worry about either..
Also, I get tunnel vision when I stand up, almost to the point where I pass out..I thought that would be more of a low bp sort of problem. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I gave birth a week ago and developed shingles on my back shortly afterward. The area is small (maybe 3"x2"), I am not in much pain at all and the doctor at urgent care advised me to continue breastfeeding and stay off the antivirals if I am handling it OK. However, my sister had shingles a few years ago and dealt with postherpetic neuralgia for 2 years as a result. She is advising me to to take the antivirals to avoid any further pain/medication. Should I just allow the disease to heal and continue to breastfeed (which I really want to do), or should I take antivirals and pump to keep my milk flowing until the drugs are out of my system to help prevent any complications? I am afraid if I don't take anything and I develop this complication that I will have to take other medications and then refrain from breastfeeding while dealing with nerve pain. What is the likelihood of developing postherpetic neuralgia? I am 23 years old and in relatively good health.

My friend and I went to get drinks after working out and he bought a quart of chocolate milk. I told him that it was a bad idea and he told me it was actually good because it has so many healthy things like calcium in it. Someone settle this argument please so I can rub it in his face or vice-versa.
