I'm only 17, but in the last year I've gained about 30 pounds. That is such a great amount in such a short time that I know my weight gain is not just the result of "growing" into my adult body.
Last year I was 5'6" and 115lbs. THEN...I started working at burger king. I thought my metabolism was invincible, so I took advantage of all the free food. Burger king food wasn't the only junk I was eating, however. I began eating crap whenever I got bored. And now...30 pounds later...I weigh about 145. It's sp depressing because I can't fit into ANY of my clothes anymore. I'm no taller than I was last year, so I know it's not a height issue.
Is it possible to go back to my 115lb. self? I lost 15lbs. once; but I was on a juice fast and gained it all back once I had a full-sized meal. I want my super fast metabolism back! I promise I won't abuse it again! Please help!

Of course it's possible..and much easier to do when you're 17 then when you're 37, so take action now.
First you have to stop eating all the crap. Just because the food is free doesn't mean you need to eat it. Start bring your meals to work with you. Whatever you do, don't starve yourself. You should be eating 1200 calories a day. Anything less then 1000, your body begins to conserve fat. Choose healthy meals, that are high in protein but low in fat, salt and sugar. Plenty of fruits and veggies are the best way to go.
Next, start working out. Studies show that exercise boosts your metabolism, not just during your work out, but some time after your work out has ended. Make sure you do cardio and get that heart rate up, and include weight training. Muscle burns more calories at rest, boosting your metabolism 24/7.
Believe in yourself, and try not to focus too much on the scale. They can be discouraging at times. You'll know you're losing when your jeans are getting loose.
Good luck to you!

You can lose this 30 pounds easily. Before you go to work eat a healthy meal so that you aren't looking for snacks or starving until your lunch break. Even if you eat the BK food do it in moderation. You don't have to have all of the sauce on the burgers, you can switch it up and make it more healthy ie.... lose the mayo. Instead of a large fry get a small one and eat them slowly. Make sure you drink an entire bottle of water during your meal.... it makes you eat slower and fill up quicker. If you have time before your break is over take a walk around the building before returning to work. It will clear your head and burn a few calories in the process.
You haven't lost your "super fast metabolism" but you have stunted it a little bit with the loss of muscle & gain of fat.
A juice fast is very unhealthy. If you lose weight that way you generally end up gaining it back in no time. You have to change the way you eat for the rest of your life not just for a week or two.

Drink water. Water is excellent for losing weight. You need half of your body weight in ounces of water daily. That means if you weigh 145 lb, you need to drink about 73 ounces of water daily. You can carry a water bottle around with you and drink it through the day.
Eat vegetables. When you are hungry, make yourself eat something healthy first. Your body needs veggies and fruits to be healthy.
Exercise. You don't necessarily need to do something you don't enjoy. Find something you like to do that gets you moving and do that.
Don't eat at Burger King every day! You won't lose weight eating that stuff. Fast food is like putting sugar in your car's gas tank. Our bodies were not made to consume that stuff. These days Americans are dying from cancer and other horrible illnesses. And they are eating lots of fast foods. So don't eat fast food very often. Eat it only once in a while.
Ask God to help you. He is always there, always listening, and ready to help you.

2) Eat steam food, vegetables, fruits
3) drink plenty of water and green tea
4) Avoid junk food, snacks and soda drinks
5) have 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate size only) to keep the tummy satisfied
6) exercise - combine weights and cardio. For stomach exercises look at situps, side planks.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog
