I have been having a tremendous pain in my groin / testicle area. My testicles themselves do not hurt but underneath it.. it started last week after I helped my wife carry the luggage up2 flights of stairs.. it settled down throughout the week and then again after I worked out at teh gym and did some deadlifts it have started this time a lot more painful than last time.

I do not believe it is a hernia because I do not have any lumps..

I have felt around and around and the only thing I can think of that it may be a groin pull. I wanted to go to the doctor but am having difficulty getting the okay from my boss...

should I go to the emergency room ronight after work?

Has anyone experienced this before? What is wrong with me?

I am trying to get off prescribed Morphine and struggling to do it on my own. My GP's answer to this particularly problem is to suggest referring me to Drug Services for Methadone, which I have categorically refused. Surely there must be some sort of rehab facility that I can go into in order to get off this evil medication?

I have taken it for a while then stopped while I was pregnant and Breastfeeding. I am now back on the Paxil at 8 weeks postpartum and it is making me have side effects that I never had before such as no sexual desire and I cannot have an orgasm. This really bothers me and my husband. Is there any other anti depressant or SSRI's that don't cause these symptoms? I am looking for personal experiences with people who have actually taken an SSRI for depression. I plan on going to the doctor to change my medicine after I do some research and get opinions from real people on which drug works best. thanks

Hello. I hope someone can help me out with this.
Well, I have a sore throat, but the pain is on the left side of my throat ONLY. And through the days it just kinda gets worse. Through the day, I would be hurting in the morning/afternoon, then I would feel better (at night). And the next day, I would be in as much pain as I was the day before. It started on Monday, and here it is, on Thursday.
I have no other symptoms of some sort, except it hurts pretty bad when I swallow, and sometimes I feel my ear kind of aching (me + ear aches = NOT a good mixture).
No headaches, no fever. That's pretty much it.
Someone. I can't stand this pain much longer. Can someone help?
I've tried warm salt water gargles, cough-drops... & it doesn't help.
Could it be my tonsils?

I'm 41, male, run 20-25 miles per week and eat fairly well. I live in Dallas and as I've gotten older, each summer is a struggle to stay hydrated and still excercise outside 4-5 days per week. Water and Gatorade dont seem to work as well anymore. I get more cramps and fatigue than I used to. What options might improve the situation?

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Whoa! That's disgusting." But it only happens when I sit on those types of material. I have read some of the posts about "butt sweat" and whatever else has been used to describe when your bum sweats... but I have a fabric covered chair @ work, and that doesn't happen... I am so embarrased that people might think that I sweat or that I might have had some leakage, but I will go to the ladies room right after the short bus ride from work and my BUM is DRY! There is a lot of heat between my thighs... literally and figuratively :) and I was just wondering if that could be the case. Like am I creating condensation???? Thank you for reading this and maybe even answering it. (Oh. And I am a very clean person)

I am a mother to four gorgeous kids all of whom i carried while working as a barmaid. I myself didnt smoke while pregnant but still inhaled the halmful toxins due to the nature of my job. So yeah, I had tennis elbow (never played tennis in my life, funnily enough) it was from hyper extending + carrying extremely heavy objects in an extremely stupid way...

Anyway I pretty much ignored it, got on with life...Now (a week later) my forearm is extremely HOTand SWOLLEN (mainly the large muscle between elbow & wrist) and keeps going 'dead' (wrist too) and looks a little bruised (not external bruising from any kind of trauma) on inside forearm....

Not going back to physio! (just recovered from knee surgery) so looking for some advice or just hearing from anyone who has had anything similar. Thanks

My medical doctor prescribed this anti-depressant for me back in the summer of 2005. It lead to the most severe bout of depression that I've ever had, lasting through into early 2006. I was suicidal in January and February of 2006. Has this drug done anyone any good?

A few months back I took in a 22 year old guy that was homeless. I felt sorry for him and he appeared to be a nice kid. Well recently he has been totally disrespecting me by doing things that I could get into trouble for. I have told him constantly told him to not have more that two of his friends here at a time. I come home from seeing my own children and find my house filled with young adults smoking pot. I have asked this kid and asked him not to let people in my house and not to be smoking pot with them in my house. Well he decided that the back yard would be a better place to do it. I look in my backyard a few days ago and I have a backyard full of kids around the table. Well last night took the cake. I came home from taking my grandson to the doctor because he is sick. I walk in my door and my house is FULL of kids 22 and under. I looked at the mess turned around and walked out t sit on the porch to cool off. Well finally they all left.

My results came back from the Haemophilic/Pathology department. I was sent there asd I complained of swollen ankles and scraing on my leg. My results have come back but I was told by my doctor to come into the surgery as I will need to be told or given something that I need to carry with me all the time.
