patronised you, mentally taunted you, demoralised you....and now that you have mental health problems and your lifes been shattered...their all laughing, giggling, wearing huge grins, pleased with their results..
im 30 and have bpd now and somehow have to pick up the pieces of my destroyed life...
how do i not let this rage inducing thought drive me over the edge?
because now anyone that i feel mistreats me or patronises me..or in some way tries to manipulate and bully me...i cant deal with it and i get rage feelings..
can this cycle be broken?
or have they instilled this mentality in me? distorted my mind and the way i view the world?

Isnt happiness just the feeling we get when our brain releases chemicals(i.e. dopamine)? If that is true, then isnt the goal of life to find activities that directly or indirectly target this outpour of brain chemicals?

Personally, I think that life is about two things: Contributing to society, and being happy about you individual life. Contributing to society is straightforward and simple; but being happy about your own life is the hard part.

If my premises are correct, can you please give me some ideas on how to activate the release of postivie brain chemicals, so that I may make it through today, and tommorrow, and the next day....

My mom wants me to lose weight (I'm 5 ft and 7 inch tall and weight 135 Ibs,17 yrs old) but I just can't.She keeps buying me clothes that are a number smaller than those I wear now but by each pound I lose I feel more and more exhausted.I usually study a lot and even during summer I'm quite busy with all sorts of activities and recently I keep feeling lack of energy which I do need.I asked my friends if they thought I should lose weight and they said I shouldn't but my mom...I don't want to fail her expectations,what should I do?

My grandmother is on Amitriptyline and Paxil. I have been setting up her meds for her and they are both described by a different doctor. I read Amitriptline is also for muscles and pain. She has been dizzy and wants to sleep and just not herself. Could it be shes taking 2 antidepressents? I dont think she needs both of them. Any Suggestions? Thanks

I got my wisdom teeth pulled on Monday, I had 6 of them though. It's Thursday and I haven't been able to have a full night of sleep ever since. I always wake up when my pain killers ware off. But when they do ware off I have a throbbing pain in my lower right side and sometimes the pain killers don't even help. I am in excruciating pain but mostly really early in the morning.

I'm going to see my dentist today at 3:30 but I'm wondering how long it will take to heal and if it sounds like I have a dry socket?

I recently made several changes in my life from leaving my home state, to leaving someone after 10 years, to quitting pain pills etc. I feel so lost and sad all the time, I am sick of dating and dealing with bs, I have no focus, I dont want to eat.. just blah! I think the seratonin stopped working due to the pills I was on. Anyone have experience with this and how did you overcome it?

I have a varicous vein in the back of my leg and it causes me great pain at night. Does anybody have any remedies for the pain? I've tried tylenol and it doesn't help. I am going to see a doctor soon, but don't have time til September to do so. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I'm in a confused state these days. Over 8 mos ago, my ex(the only guy I ever at one point thought I'd end my life with) passed away at the untimely age of 30. It's been very hard for me to get over, & recently I've been feeling more depressed about it than ever...8 mos later! I will have a dream about him or something in my waking life will remind me of him, and then I will sink into a state of depression and it'll be near-impossible for me to snap out of it for several hrs. :(

I've also experienced a surge in sexual desire. I've always been overly sexual, but lately I've taken comfort in hanging out with my ex's friends(people I'd hooked up w/ before we'd started dating), since we can relate about my ex. I don't do drugs, so sex is like my drug to focus off the pain of my ex. I'm getting more dependent on it, to the point that I'm writing about this while at WORK!(obviously my mind's not on work) It seems to be 1 thing or the other...think about sex or be really depressed...

She is only 9 years old and I often find her worrying and crying over the slightest things. It is difficult to confront her about anything, because she breaks down. This isn't a spoil child reaction this is a reaction to being scolded and yelled at, to consequence. But last night it got worse when she couldn't sleep because she was worried if her baby sister got out of bed she would hurt herself, because she didn't clean the room. No amount of soothing helped, no amount of logic helped. I'm at my wits end.

ok so i have been bleeding and havent stopped after having my second in april 2005. i had rod in arm but it made it worst took it out stopped. tryed the pill did the same stopped it. then i had Deprovera shot and it wore of in jan this year and im still bleeding . i stopped for three days a month and then bleed again trying to fall preg but cant my boobs are killing me my ankels are swollen my preg test are neg but my body thinks im preg weight gain. feeling sick tummy is getting big its driving me crazy is there some kind of tablet i can get to stop the bleeding? oh and i cant stop peeing PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
