I have a varicous vein in the back of my leg and it causes me great pain at night. Does anybody have any remedies for the pain? I've tried tylenol and it doesn't help. I am going to see a doctor soon, but don't have time til September to do so. Any help would be great! Thanks!

varicious veins are something you wantr to have checked out by yor dr,why , you ask, i have a cosuin who was warend by his dr that his were very dangerous, meaning that they could rupture if knocked or hit, he choose not to do anything with his, he was young , just 25 years old and had a ggreat job , just bought his own house when in the middle of the night he got up to go to the bathroom in the dark, hit his leg onto something which caused it to bleed, bleed very badly to the point that he fainted and he actually bled to death all alone, no one shoudl die of such a simplke thing that can be prevented with proper medical care, please seek medical advise, it just may save your life

Elevate your leg on pillows. You might try wrapping your leg with an Ace wrap at night and wearing support hose during the day.
