I'm suffering from chronic sinus problems due to allergies. When I am in my home I get "stuffed up", a rash and dizzy. When I leave the house, the allergy symptoms clear up. We have had the house treated for mold, have air purifiers in every room and put the "allergy-free" sheets and pillow cases on every bed. I use unscented everything and went on a vegetarian diet. We purchased leather couches to reduce allergins. What could be causing these reactions. I don't want to move, but I can't live like this!

One day i woke up with a swollen eyelid and all this puss was inside of it. Then i went to the doctor 3 days later and got this anti boitic called Augmentin. I took the first pill about 2 hours ago and the puss went away and my eyelid feels normal. Is it bad to go out in the sun? Or can i just go about my usual routine. Or do i have to stay indoors?

her doctor has her on Methadone for pain because other things werent working anymore...supposely. She is on 100mg Serequel, ambian cr, diet pills(phentremine),ativan and some kind of liquid pain killer i think codeine/codone. I feel like it is too much. My family and i are wanting to get help for her, i think she on way too much. She lives in a different state than us and has 2 young kids and we are worrying. Is this too much medication?

I am trying to go on a fish-and-vegetable diet, but sometimes depending where I am, the only fish available is breaded and fried. Gross. Does removing the breading make the fish significantly more healthy or maybe only a little more healthy? How much of the frying oil gets to the fish on the inside rather than just the breading?

i eat three meals a day- but at the end of the day- after dinner i end up eating SOO much sweet stuff. its like im addicted or something. do i just need to go cold turkey and not eat any sugar? or ease off gradually?

I went to counseling today, & I was talking about my family issues. I'm an adult, & I moved in town to only discover that my brother just figured he can use someone to pay all his bills. Also he hasn't changed from being abusive like he used to be. I thought he would've changed over the years.

My counselor tries to encourage me to sit here & ALLOW him to use me & dog me out just because I'm in his house. & when I tell her about how he beats on & yells at me & treats me like a slave & takes all my money, she tells me to ignore that. She said I HAVE to do what he tells me to do, REGARDLESS because it's HIS house. It can't be too much of his house if he only sleeps here 2x/week & has ME paying all the bills. So that means if he tells me to drink out the toilet, I BETTER do it, right? Hmm...Sigh!

I have been taking Yaz for 7 months. It is Yaz-not Yasmin. I have just started having this side effect, which by the way scares me to death. I have cysts all over both my ovaries and inside them, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the post-sex bleeding or not. I have been with this same guy for quite some time now, and the last two times we've had sex I experience this after effect of bleeding. It's the same as yours, not spotting but not drastically heavy. Enough where I have to wear a tampon for about a day. The first time I experienced this I had a pain on my lower left side while we were being intimate, then later on I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding. I had no pain the next time, so I do not know if I should associate the cysts with this bleeding or not. We use condoms normally, but these last two times we have not-if that is an issue or not, i don't know?I dont think Im pregnant and dont get bleeding. I think i need to go to the doc but have no insurance now.

I was reading the story on the guy who came back to the US with a terrible case of TB. It sounds like he was just trying to get home to get help.

According to the story, The CDC told him to stay there when they contacted him about the severity of his TB. I think they should have done more to bring him home. Possibly they should have arranged travel for him in a "germ safe" environment as to not to infect the other passengers.

I thought one of the jobs of the government was to protect our citizens. We are blowing all these billions of dollars in Iraq but can't care of our own.

I've been taking the pill (microgynon) for almost a year now. Was meant to take the last (21st) pill of the pack on monday. However was away and had forgotten to pack it. Didn't return til yesterday. Since forgetting the pill i have had unprotected sex (2 days ago). Do i need the morning after pill? my period came a day early as i stopped takin the pill a day early. but still a lil worried. should i visit my doctor or am i threating over nothing?

Today is my grandma's birthday, yesterday was my mom's and a couple of days ago was my dad's... I don't see them as much as I used to and I love being able to visit with everybody. However, my family is huge! Every week there is a celebration for someone... most of the time we end up at restaurants with the least healthy menus.
I hate ordering just a salad because 1) they tease me and 2) because I am trying my hardest to lose weight and it is near impossible when setting at a table starring at everything I want to eat but cannot. It is like torture.
I have another birthday dinner tonight at Red Lobster, those cheese biscuits and fried shrimp platters are calling my name (fried foods are my weakness).
How to I get around this issue and enjoy my own rabbit food and the company of my family (without focusing on everything I can't have)?

When it comes to supplements and vitamins, does the expiration date on the bottle mean that the supplement loses potency, or does it mean that the supplement becomes unsafe, or does it mean something else?
For example: My friend has had a bottle of activated charcoal that expired three years ago, and he says it is still okay to use to treat diarrhea. Is he wrong, and if so, why?

They found a giant cell tumor in the back of my knee, medial femoral condyle. It is 3 cm. I am having surgery to remove it next week. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this surgery. How long was your recovery time? They told me 1-3 weeks depending on how the surgery goes. How big was the incision? Any information would be a great help.
