Well, good luck with that. I think you should still take the morning after pill, because it's better to be safe then sorry.

It's about 40$ though, depending on where you get it. And, i think you might be actually out of luck as far as the time period you were supposed to take it in. It is most effective in 48 hours or less than the time you had unprotected sex.

If you do decide to take the morning after pill, you might feel a bit sick. I definitely did whenever I had to take it in an emergency situation before. So, just want to let you know that's normal.

Good luck with your situation. Please be more careful next time. That is a scary thing to go through! You'll be in my thoughts though, hope everything works out.

I think it has to be taken within 72hours so i'd get a move on if you are seriously considering it. They say that if you miss a pill you must take the next one ASAP and you still wont be covered for 7 days so iw ould be careful for the next week.

I have never used the morning after pill before but i tried to once, you have to go to a pharmacy and they will get you into a back room to fill out a form (its not as simple as just handing it over the counter) but for some minor reaosn (cant even remember what it was) they wouldn't let me have it. Silly really because if i had been pregnant (which luckily i wsn't) it would not have been my fault for being unsafe but the pharmasists fault for not allowing me emergency contraception when it was required over some minor discrepancy.

You'd be safer taking the morning after pill. You can't count the bleeding as a normal period as when you're on the pill you just get 'breakthrough bleeding' which is different . It could be that your hormones rise just enough to 'pop' an egg.
Remember that sperm can live for up to five days inside you.

You'd better be quick as sooner taken the better and you only have 72 hours.
Good luck.

don't take any chance if you don't want to have a baby yet, my advice would be YES still have the morning after pill, but you can only take the pill within 72hours of unprotected sex, you can buy the morning after pill over the counter at the chemist or pharmacy, it costs around £22.00pounds for one tablet but its better to be safe than sorry, ask for LEVONELLE one step, they should know what you mean when you ask for it by name, instead of asking for the morning after pill, where everyone around you can hear what you have asked for. but again if you one to take a chance first thing Monday morning phone your G.P. and ask for emergency appointment to see your doctor, but for me this option will be to late. hope this as helped anyway, good luck

If you got your period, no need for that pill. Conception is not possible during or immediately after the period.
