it is normal as long as your period is otherwise normal if it is lasting an unusually long time and its heavy there may be a problem ps.i dont understand why these ignorant people are responding to this catagory i think they may have a weird fetish or something youall need to grow up and get a life

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's normal. Your body prepares for a pregnancy, but when it realizes you're not getting pregnant it drains the blood and tissue (your period) it prepared for the pregnancy.

Since I'm getting older, I do that every month. I know what you mean. However, I'm not sure if it is normal or not. It does not look like a blood clot either; it is different.

Very normal, no matter how old or what pills you are or aren't on. As someone said they are blood clots, your body's way of 'cleaning' house - so no worries other than that they are somewhat gross! :o)

Yes. They're blood clots. If you've missed a birthcontrol pill this can happen. It's looks horrible and can be quite scary.
