Fishy smell is a sign of bacterial vaginosis.

The symptoms of bacterial vaginosis are a foul, fishy odor and a grayish white discharge. The amount of the discharge varies so there is no amount that is considered "normal". There are no other symptoms. If you have a vaginal discharge that is abnormal for you, it is a good idea to see a health practitioner to rule out all other conditions. Some women with bacterial vaginosis will experience no symptoms at all.

It can be cured easily with antibiotics.

Any of the above - you need to see a gyno or family doc. Don't try over the counter for yeast until you know by doctor dx that it is yeast. I don't know how old you are, if you have never had to see this kind of doc before, you might want to consider a female or a male that has a female nurse practitioner. No matter what it is, I am sure meds will treat it quickly (unless it is ovulation!) But don't wait, infections not treated can have nasty side effects later, such as infertility.

Sounds like you could have an infection of some kind. When it comes to the female reproductive system, I treat everything as though it's serious until proven otherwise.

Go get checked.

If it happens once a month or lasts only 2-4 days, it's ovulation.
