I am having lots of pain in my upper abdomen, under ribs, and going through to back. I have been getting sick vomiting alot, and when I eat the pain gets worse, plus very painful when just sitting. With a scale from 1-10 my pay is @ 9.

I have fair skin that is dry yet oily around my nose. I have LOTS of blackheads all around and on my nose and a few ones on my chin that are soooo hard to extract. I use St. Ive's Exfoliator but it makes my skin and dry and peely. I've been using a Dove Moisturizing Night time bar on my face but still have an occasional massive zit on my chin or cheeks. I tend to get some small acne (un-popable) though around my eyebrows...

What should I use because the Dove bar doesn't seem to work very well...

I have been told that once someone has canecr and chemo they can't donate blood or any body organ except the cornea. Is this true universally, in the USA or what?

I take an Rx for a minor medical problem, that has the side effect of totally eliminating my natural attraction to the opposite sex.

I've already asked this in "Y!A men's health", but I want a woman's perspective before I make a final decision. My doctor says he'll prescribe as much as I need, but I have to narrow it down to one, and stop playing medication roulette.

I can't ask my gf, because neither of us kept a record of which I was on, while making love!

Please ignore this question, if you find it too personal. I just want to make my gf/fiancee happy.

mrs. cathy trini a 32 year old mother of 3, employed in a mortgage company, came in for a routine exam and reports feeling tired all the time. she said her heart was beating fast and she was having a hard time catching her breath. she experienced syncope 4 time this past week. menstrual periods have been regular but heavy. the patient appears pale her temperature is 98.4 BP 100/69, pulse is 118, and resp. 26. i was at the beach yesterday and i threw a sandy rock into the ocean and a grain of sand cut through the skin and lodged into my fingertip. i tried to get it out, but my fingers were dirty. i let it be after about 20 minutes assuming there was nothing in there, but today it's a little red and hurts to put pressure on it, as though it were a shard of glass. it looks like a tiny water blister, but the pain makes me think that the grain is clear and that's what i'm seeing. it's deep and went in on an angle so there's no way i can get to it with tweezers or a needle. can this cause infection? HOW can i get it out myself?

We got informed that he is fighting for his life, right now. Or he can be paralized from this. Is this a though thing to survive from, my friend is very young he's 14, and I'd be devastated if he died so young. In the beginning of the school year, he was pretty normal, but towards the end of the year, he couldn't walk without a cast.

I'm after some links, or the like, to do with Pain management, or pain relief therapy... Just looking them up, it only comes up with stuff like acupuncture, or meditation... I'm after something to do with controlling the pain with your mind (Not hypnosis) so you can't feel it, or you can deal with it easier.

I ran 2 miles with my friend whos really fast at the track today... yesterday i ran 1 mile slower... but now my legs feel like they are tied in knots and hurt like you know what... what can i do to ease my pain? BTW they are on the back of the calves!

I have always been an extremely thin girl and always wanted to gain weight. I got pregnant with twin girls when I only weighed 109 pounds at 28 years old. Now that I am older, I have gained a little weight, which I am happy about, but my tummy is excessively bad!! How can I get a flat tummy without losing any weight anywhere else without having liposuction? ( I have considered this option.) Please help and remember I am not young anymore. :))

I have a terrible toothache that I have been taking XTRA strength Tylenol for, and the pain keeps coming back. I know that I need to go to a dentist and get it looked at but I do not have the $$ to do that with. I am 24yrs old, and the pain is unbelieveable. The tooth already is crowned with a silver top, but I was wanting to know if I went to an MD (medical doctor) if they could pull it.. I do not care about saving this tooth becasue it is in the back of my mouth where if they did pull it; it would not be a major problem to my already low self esteem. Plz help!
