Well, I'm deciding to get braces, and i don't know which ones to get. I'm entering high school next year, and which one would be better. Do the metal braces hurt more than the ceramic ones? Are they easier to clean?

I recently started an exercise plan to help increase my energy and to help lose weight. I've been doing cardio 3 times a week. I also do weights when time permits. I've also changed my diet to eating more times a day (for metabolism), eating healthier food. I have also started taking vitamins everyday (My B vitamins and a GNC MegaMens). The problem is that I still have no energy and am sleepy ALOT during the day. There is no set pattern to my sleepiness either. Is this just something I am going to have to work through or is this something bigger I should be aware of?

I think that it tends to vary depending on the individual. For instance, I define fat as having a visible muffin top... A muffin top is when the fat hangs over the jeans like a mushroom... or muffin! I do not consider a little fat on the stomach as fat... everyone has a bit of belly unless you are super fit or anorexic.

Hi, can anybody tell me if this is normal? Sometimes, I randomly get a tingle, like a chill down my spine then my arm twitches and spazzes once. It's annoying because it's been happening quite frequently lately.

Also, when I'm nervous or extremely excited about something, my body starts shaking, my teeth starts chattering vigorously and I get muscle spasms in my arms. I can control it but it takes a lot of focus and strength. It's crazy because it happens for the smallest things. For example, when we play competitive memory games in front of class in Spanish, I start having these symptoms. It also happened when there was a knowledge bowl today at school. I remember when I did the spelling bee, I was shaking so badly, I had to play with my zipper back and forth super fast to relax

If anyone could help me and tell me if there is anything wrong with me? Are they nervous tics? See I don't think this is normal. Thank you.

A brother of Mine (We haven't talked for a couple of years) called me on the phone the other day. He has a huge mental illness. I am very affraid that he will not only hurt himself but his kids. He was talking to me about having children with anna nichol smith and that he works for the CIA and kills lots of people. I am affaid to confront him because I think he would hurt my family. Can I call someone? Can they do anything? I don't know how this works because I don't want him finding out that I am telling on him. I guess he has been blackmaling his mom to give him money or he will kill the children. She is scared to do anything because she thinks he will actully harm them. I don't know where to turn...

I'm 14 and I'm 5 feet 3 inches. At the beginning of the month I wieghed 106 but now I'm down to 97. I've lost almost 10 pounds in the last couple of weeks.

I'm going out with a guy 2 years older then me which is the only "stress" I can think of. Is it that bad to be going out with that guy? I'm always feeling an anxious feeling in my stomach. Like somethings missing. So I've lost my apitite

Is it normal to be losing all that wieght so quickly?

I'm not on any diet, I eat very healthy, my eating habbits are normal.

Whats happening?!?!

i have precancerious lesions due to hpv and i was wondering how fast can cancer start? or how fast can it spread to the point where you won't be able to save your female parts you need for having kids? i have a new doctor that i feel comfortable with and it's been about 2 years that i have had this. i recentley got a new test done that showed i do still have it. so i guess i'm hoping that it hasn't spread any where else. please help.

I'm getting life insurance, I had to take a mini physical, and I had a urine test. They told me to drink tons of water b4 the test which I did, when I went in the cup, my urine was clear as Dasani. Now they called and said they want a 2 day urine test, 2 tests over 2 days. ANyone know why? I honestly have taken no drugs, and I'm wondering why they would do this. Only thing I can think of is urine was super diluted from water.

Well i decided i wanted to become fit. Not just thin for summer but in shape because i'll be happier and healthier and have more energy. What small, small changes can i make to my diet and exercise that i can gradually build up to? I've tried more drastic things like starting out working out for 20-45 minutes a day but i end up exhausting and boring myself.

Since summer is coming up i want to do water aerobics but what kinds of things now can i do to buff myself up without making me bored or feel like a chore? Any websites on exercises i can do with 5lb weights starting off would be great! thanks :)
