A negative pregnancy test doesn't necessarily mean you aren't pregnant. She needs to keep taking pregnancy tests until she either gets a positive reading or her period. A lot of people also don't know how to take pregnancy tests correctly (first time you pee in the morning so the urine & therefore the hormones in it are more concentrated).

However, I am with you that this community may not be the best place to ask these questions. This community is alot more useful: http://community.livejournal.com/am_i_pregnant Most people don't leave enough information for another to truly be able to gage whether or not they are at a great risk of being pregnant, whereas that livejournal community has a survey for girls to fill out so the readers can actually understand the circumstances and give better advice.

Why is that that so many people answering these questions always assume the questions are being asked by someone only in America or the UK...... A lot of these people are probably from some country that doesn't have pharmacies/drug stores that sell HPT's and even if they did they probably couldn't afford them. As one other person said.. This is Yahoo Answers... they ask a question and WE answer. If you don't like a question move on to the next .. there are plenty out there.

i've been thinking the same thing- why are there so many young people on here worried about things like this and not getting accurate info from Dr, schools, etc..
has our selfishness really lead to such stupidity on raising our children.
I always say it wouldn't be a concern if you were smart enough to cover your bases. Accidents don't happen, stupidity is preventable.

I agree.. its common sense. If you are worried, get a test. There's nothing no-one on here can tell from a few words.
I guess some people are either clueless, don't know the basics of reproduction or are needy.

I suspect quite a few of 'em are bored adolescents whose imaginations have run away with them, making them thing it'd be funny to see how many shocked replies they can fool folks into giving 'em.
