Well i decided i wanted to become fit. Not just thin for summer but in shape because i'll be happier and healthier and have more energy. What small, small changes can i make to my diet and exercise that i can gradually build up to? I've tried more drastic things like starting out working out for 20-45 minutes a day but i end up exhausting and boring myself.

Since summer is coming up i want to do water aerobics but what kinds of things now can i do to buff myself up without making me bored or feel like a chore? Any websites on exercises i can do with 5lb weights starting off would be great! thanks :)

Try yoga.It helps burn fat while building muscle and flexibilty. It's really fun, too.You can go to classes or buy a DVD and do it at home.Either will cause great results!

Well being I keep in shape by walking, I would recommend walking with your 5lb weights at a local park you enjoy. I see a lot of people do this in the parks. It's fun and easy and not boring when you're out and about versus doing it in your room.

As far as food, I found the simplest diet plan on earth. It's called reading your food labels! Don't buy anything with addictive food substances in it. This is easy. All you have to do is not buy anything with MSG or high fructose corn syrup. I did this 2 years ago and it works great. Of course I cut out a lot of foods because so much stuff is laden with these fattening additives. Once you are off it, you will never want to go back and real food without MSG tastes so much better. Chocolate is okay for diets as long as there is no high fructose corn syrup in it. I enjoy a small piece every night and never gain weight and it's actually good for you too, so don't feel you have to deprive yourself.

Remember, a healthy diet is for life, not just for loosing weight. Educate yourself on what you eat and take it seriously. You will be changed forever and happy that you made the change.

I would think an energy drink would help you. However, if you are concerned about your health, then you should know, most of the popular energy drinks on the market have a lot of sugar and caffeine in them, which are bad for you. They will give you a quick "boost" then you "crash".

I drink an energy drink that is healthy for you, works in 10-15 minutes after drinking it, lasts for several hours, and is a lot less expensive than those other energy drinks. It comes in a powder form ("on the go" packet) so you can mix it with 8 oz. of water or other beverage.

After drinking these drinks for several months (daily), I feel so much better. Also, I have some friends that like to work out and they say that it is the best thing for them.

Change some eating habits. For example I stopped drinking soda, I started drinking my coffee without creme or sugar (that one was hard but I got used to it), start eating salads and veggies with every meal and eat them first. I drink water all day long and nothing else. (except for coffee in the morning). I eat only when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm not hungry anymore instead of when I feel full. And since then I haven't been eating nearly as much and I have lost forty pounds over all in about a year. You have the right idea, make changes that you can maintain indefinitely, instead of trying to take on a rigorous exercise program or an overyly restrictive diet. It's the only way to make permanent changes.

Make sure that the only liquid you drink is water.

If you have to have juice, make sure it is 100% and mix it half with water.

Clean you house a lot. Scrubbing floors burns off as many calories as running.

Take your dog for a walk everyday. If you don't have a dog, borrow one.

Do at least 80 crunches a day.

Stretch every morning.

Eat at least one big salad a day.

Pay attention to what you should eat rather than what you should not eat.

Have fun instead of exercising. Go to a park and play with some kids. Go dancing. Mow the lawn. Go for a hike.
