A liver laceration does not cause dehydration, but it can cause bleeding internally which causes the same symptoms as dehydration: Low blood pressure, high heart rate, dizzyness ie shock!
It is a dangerous situation requiring hospitalization as stated with IV fluids, sometimes blood transfusion, and very careful monitoring. It is potentially life threatening.

If you have a laceration to the liver, I would hope you are in the hospital on strict bedrest, getting virtually no medication. I should hope you are getting IV fluids for hydration. A lacerated liver should not cause dehydration.
