I've been really stressed out lately and i keep forgetting stuff. Yesterday i completely forgot about a class i had and i forgot that i was supposed to baby sit my brothers kids until he called and reminded me that i was supposed to be there. I forget stuff at work all the time and i cant remember some stuff that i did an hour ago. Can stress do that or should i be looking for some other cause. I know that memory loss is part of aging but im only 18. In all fairness i have been stressed out alot lately, more then normal. But unlike alot of ppl stress keeps me going, i work better when im stressed out.

I have really bad lower back pain. I've gotten used to it because I've lived with it for so long but
sometimes it gets really bad to where I cant sit or I will literally cry. I've tried back pain stretches
from information I've gotten online but that had just made my back problems worse. It does feel way better
sitting straight upright but by doing so i've noticed no change in my back pain in the long run. The last time my doctor checked my back was when I was in 4th grade and I had scoliosis. Is there anything I can do for my lower back pain? I know its a common problem so there has to be something out there that people have tried and succeeded with

I have been struggling with back pain for a long time, I've been reading up on ways to relieve it and I read somewhere that a cane might help. I don't care about how it would look but does anyone think it's possible that a cane might help? I thought canes were only for leg/foot injuries. I have this decorative cane that I've been walking with around the house and it does help a little, it kind releaves the stress on my back but I realize that if I do walk with a cane I need a proper one, I was just kind of test driving it lol. So does anyone think a cane for back pain might be beneficial?

I noticed I had a splinter in my finger because whenever I would type with it or touch something I would get a splinter-type of pain. I've examined my finger many times trying to find the splinter so that I could extract it, but I don't see it. Either it's too tiny to see or maybe it got buried beneath the skin. What can I do to get rid of it under the circumstances?

I had a total thyroidectomy after having papillary thyroid cancer that spread to 1 lymph node, a little over 3 years ago. Never had radioactive iodine treatment because it affects fertility, so my endocrinologist likes to keep my slightly hyper. I go through periods where I have trouble sleeping, I feel like I have ADD, short tempered, and feel fatigued. My dose just had to be lowered twice because I was too hyper. Just wanted to know about other people experiences.

Is there anything related to cancer or cancer treatment that would cause someone to burp uncontrollably when they are talking to someone? And I mean every 2-3 words a burp.

I was talking to an employee on the phone that was updating his sick time and he kept burping. It was so incredibly disgusting that I couldn't take it any more and referred him to speak with my supervisor (and I don't get disgusted easily at all). Rude and nasty.

Am I just being unsympathetic or is my disgust justified?

For as long as I can remember the joints in my ankles have been buckling/locking up everytime I stand on my toes.
Im about 5 feet tall so I have to stand on my toes to reach alot of things. When the joints lock it feels
extremely hurtful and they stay really stiff. If I try to move them it will feel like someone is hitting my ankle with a sledgehammer.
so for that period of time I cannot move them. I try not to stand on my toes but every once in a while I forget and
every single time my joints in my ankles lock again. My dad has authritis and from what he describes my pain is much more worse then his. Could I still have authritis although I havent had any prior injuries?

All over the internet people are up in arms about skinny fashion models, and thiness in general. Some common phrases that come up are
- "Size 0 is disgusting"
- "A REAL woman has curves"

As someone who is relatively thin with not much in the way of the supposedly "natural" womanly curves, I feel a bit insulted by the constant pushing in my face of what a "real" sexy woman should look like. I'm concerned that younger slim girls may be having their self-esteem as damaged by the (I think now more common) assertation that curves are best, and anyone without is disgusting and unsexy. Has anyone had close-hand experience of this being a problem? Is it just a case of society concentrating too much on what a woman looks like and not enough on other qualities?
