Like liposuction, a tummy tuck is not an alternative to weight reduction. It will improve your abdominal silhouette by surgically giving you a smoother and flatter stomach. However, if you gain a lot of weight, your stomach will once again expand.

The trade-off with a tummy tuck is a flatter, smoother stomach versus a rather conspicuous permanent scar. Depending on the amount of skin to be removed, the scar can be anything from a small incision to a long line running from one hip across the pubic area and up to the other hip. So, before you decide on surgery, be very aware of the trade-off; you’ll have a flatter and unwrinkled tummy that will look great in a one-piece bathing suit, but buck naked you will be left with an obvious scar.

Liposuction is not the answer for getting rid of body fat. The results are temporary, and chances are the fat will return and can end up in any part of your body. Imagine waking up one day with a blob of fat in an odd part of your body like your neck - it has happened, and it is scary. Your eating and exercise habits won't change after you get the lipo, so you will gain all of the weight back - don't waste your money. The best candidates for lipo are those who have been dieting and working out but have a few small pouches of fat they cannot get rid of no matter how diligently they've been exercising and watching their food intake. Once they get the liposuction, they continue working out and eating right, and thus the fat doesn't return. This is not meant to be a substitute for taking real care of your body. How about cutting some calories and moving more?

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

It's Lipo,
The removal of fatty tissue reduces regrowth

Faster and simpler method of removal

Helps you get back quicker for exercising

Of course anything you do you must exercises to prevent
return. Change diet and just do (different) daily routines, this
keeps you from getting tired of repetitive exercising.

Regardless of which you choose, if your love handles are where you gain weight, you'll just gain it there again even after a tuck or lipo.
They don't call them love handles for nothing! We all love a little something to hold onto!!!!!

Baggy clothes hide the body and encourage lounging around. So regardless if you're relaxing at home, wear fitted clothes to hold you on track.
