I noticed I had a splinter in my finger because whenever I would type with it or touch something I would get a splinter-type of pain. I've examined my finger many times trying to find the splinter so that I could extract it, but I don't see it. Either it's too tiny to see or maybe it got buried beneath the skin. What can I do to get rid of it under the circumstances?

you can try this old trick. put elmer's glue on the spot and let it fully dry. if it's close to the surface the glue will pull it out when you pull the dry glue off.

either way your body will push out what's unnatural.

A sliver will work it's way out on it's own. It's best if you leave it, since poking around looking for it could cause an infection.

Try soaking your finger in warm to hot water to get that pruney look. Then maybe it will come up to the surface and then you will be able to see it.

Hair removal wax is best.
Apply and wait a few minutes,(about 4-5) then remove.
