Hepatitis A: primarily through the fecal-oral route (an infected individual touches their anus for some reason, and then contacts another person), or through contaminated shellfish.
Hepatitis B: spread through blood contact, or from mother-to-child.
Hepatitis C: typically spread through IV-drug use (needle-sharing), or sexual contact

hepatitis a is spread through contaminated food with feces.
it is spread usually by people who do not practice sanitary habits.
hepatitis b is found in all bodily fluids and is spread in anyway a person comes into contact.
hepatitis c is spread THROUGH BLOOD ONLY. if there is not blood present, hcv cannot spread! this includes sexual transmission....hcv corpuscles found in semen, vaginal fluid, mucus, tears or saliva are NOT transmittable. this is why hcv is not a "true std" because blood would somehow have to transmit into the direct bloodstream of another.
people-old information, wrong information and only partial information are not acceptable!
again: HCV IS ONLY SPREAD THROUGH BLOOD. there are a million ways one could become infected with HCV, but only one way to acquire it: blood!
hepatitis D- it needs to have hepatitis B as it's host to survive, so the only way you can have D is if you have B.
hepatitis E is similar to A and spread basically the same way
