Just plain oats, with water and maybe a packet of splenda, heated up in the microwave. Is this bad or good for eating on a diet?

He did a 4 point caliper test, testing my tricep, abdomen, hip and upper thigh. It came out to my bmi being 30.07%. He grabbed a lot of my arm and thigh, and it actually hurt, so maybe he grabbed too much skin? Anyway.. if I really am borderline obese, should I be losing more than 18lbs? He said if I lose 18lbs my BMI will drop to 20% or probably lower. He also said that I, at 158lbs and 5'3", should not go below 130 for my base weight or risk my BMI going too low. I'm more confused now than before.

My fiancee just admitted that he has a problem with coke and perks and that he needs help. He is affraid that if he goes into rehab that his work will fire him. He loves where is working but is affraid that he won't have a job if he goes for help. Is there any laws protecting peoples jobs in this type of situation? Or is there something else he can do? We live in Philadelphia, PA.

THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION SO ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE..
Here's the thing, i've been with him for 6 years now and he's always been like this..I sorta learned to tolerate it. I always tell him he smells and he needs to do something about it but never does. He showers daily, but doesnt brush his teeth daily, its actually quite gross. I just got into an argument about it and he seems like he doesn't care. I told him to do something about it or im leaving with the kids cause I can't tolerate it anymore. I'm tired of being turned off by my boyfriend almost on a daily basis, I don't even feel like he's my boyfriend cause I don't want to touch him or kiss him. Can anyone help me, anyone have any suggestions about what I can do?

I'm undergoing drastic dietary changes and beginning to work out in an attempt to get in shape and drop some weight.
i'm young, but people say you should see a doc before doing this, and I was just wondering if any of you have...and what does the doctor do or say?
Do they ever prescribe any medicine? Nutrition advising?
Just wondering...

Why is it that a severely underweight person suffering from anorexia can go to a doctor and get lots of help and counselling and yet a morbidly obese person can simply be told to eat less and exercise more?
Would a doctor laugh at an anorexic person and tell them to just go eat more?
It seems as if anorexia is treated as if it's not the sufferers problem but morbid obesity is, when really they are opposite ends of the same scale - what do you think?

But had really no noticable symptoms but very slightly tender breasts???? See i am usually irregular but the last 3 months i have been taking natural progesterone cream and have had 2 regular cycles, not on any type of birth control, and my husband and i have had unprotected sex quite a bit last month...This month i missed my period but have had slightly tender breasts mostly around the nipple area that has lasted about a week so far, today my breasts have been more tender than they have been this past week....I think pregnancy is possible although i think i am not..I have no other symptoms other than slightly tender breasts and slight cramps in my abdomen here and their..
So i would like to know if any of you were ever pregnant with only slightly tender breasts and that's it????Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Had a hysterectomy on Thursday, and still can't urinate! I am able to defecate (poop) and have had absolutely NO trouble with that at all. So, what's the deal? I am having to catheterize myself everytime I have to pee and quite frankly that can't be good, especially after 5 days. What can I do? I've tried taking a hot shower, running water, blowing bubbles in a cup, putting my hand in warm water, etc. Nothing works. Any suggestions would be wonderfully accepted. The best answer is the one that WORKS. I have to be back in classes on Monday, and it'll be a major pain if I have to catheterize myself between classes, etc.
