THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION SO ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE..
Here's the thing, i've been with him for 6 years now and he's always been like this..I sorta learned to tolerate it. I always tell him he smells and he needs to do something about it but never does. He showers daily, but doesnt brush his teeth daily, its actually quite gross. I just got into an argument about it and he seems like he doesn't care. I told him to do something about it or im leaving with the kids cause I can't tolerate it anymore. I'm tired of being turned off by my boyfriend almost on a daily basis, I don't even feel like he's my boyfriend cause I don't want to touch him or kiss him. Can anyone help me, anyone have any suggestions about what I can do?

as much as I hate being a traitor to my gender,

just stop all intimate relations with him. go on strike. when he comes for it tell him you are not running a zoo. he will be pissed off because you embarrassed him. eventually he will say FINE and do it. just brush off his remarks and give him a fun time. repeat.

If it's a natural problem like maybe he produces more sweat than normal then maybe he should take to a doctor or spray some body deodorant periodically throughout the day. The brushing teeth thing is really odd. I have bad breath at times but wow. I would be afraid to talk to people if I didn't brush my teeth! If he knows your to the point of leaving then I'm sure he'll do some serious thinking. Because I'm strapped for time in the mornings I put my toothbrush and paste in the shower and just clean my teeth with the rest of my body. Or at least find out why he wants to have ugly teeth...

Its not him, its you. I don't mean to sound callus or hateful but I don't understand how you could have had children with him if he's always had that problem. I also don't understand why you stayed with him that long after letting him know that there is an issue.

From what I can tell about you, you are a wonderful caring person that has a lot of love to give. Don't you think you deserve someone that will at least wash up for you and your kids? Don't you deserve to have a man Sh%$, shower, shave without you having to yell at him for it. You have given this man 6 years of your life and _ kids and he can't brush his teeth for you? You do not deserve that- you want better, you need better, God wants you to have better.

I also hate to tell you that since you have allowed him to disrespect you with his smell and bad grooming for so many years, he will not change because he now feel that you either like it or can't do better so he's going to do what he wants and it ain't gonna be showering. Take a stand, move out and date him from a distance until he decides that you are worth him putting in the effort to be decent for. Oh yeah, no more sex... that usually gets immediate results, one way or another.

Yeah I'm sorry to hear that. You might not want to hear this either.
If he didn't change in the first six years, he sure as hell is not gonna change anytime soon.
You have a right to be happy too. Yes relationships have compramises all the time. Although personal hygeine shouldn't be one ot them. Leave the bum.
If you want to stay with that loser who you can't stand to be near, then consider pouring some mouth wash down his throat when he's sleeping.
If he changes his diet that will help too.
And also you guys should see a couples counselor. Try to get to the root of the reason on why he refuses to make any comprimises with you. Good luck.

I would say start shopping for someone else as your boyfriend if he doesn't even have the common etiquette of decent personal hygiene and to brush and floss his teeth regulary. That's gross. What else does he not wash regularly. Can you smell his penis from a mile away? Ewwww

Does he realize that the stone age is over and that men don't wear loin cloths and bathe only twice a year anymore?

Make him start taking acidopholus capsules from health food store. He'll need to take one with every meal and the capsules work better when he's eating fruit or veggies. Also have him switch to a soap like Zest or something that gets rid of bacteria on the skin. If you're doing the cooking cut red meat out as well as dairy for a couple of months.Make chicken, turkey or fish instead although beans, veggie burgers and other health food products would be better.Eliminate spice except for sea salt , fresh or powdered ginger and black pepper.Make sure that he's going to the bathroom (#2) everyday.Otherwise his breath and body will continue to smell bad. He's gonna need to start flossing every 24 hours unless of course he wants to lose his teeth and wear dentures.Buy him floss sticks to make it easier and tell him to floss while watching tv so he'll be sure to get it done. This will definitely eliminate the stinky smell and if it doesn't your bf's probably seriously ill and needs to see a doctor.Good luck.

Alright! Listen up! Here what you do...
Take him for a trip to the tub or shower. It can be something special and fun. You get to wash your own partner's body and he get's to wash you. That way, you know he's bathing properly. It'll be something romantic and benifical.

There are other possibilities other than him not cleaning himself. It could be your sense of smell picking up on his faramones, which could smell aweful. It could also be that he has a disorder of some kind that causes him to smell that way. In that case, there are ways of treating this and going to a doctor about this.

I have to say that that is really bad. There is a kid at my school who is like that. He pretty much doesn't take care of himself.
Honestly, I think I would leave. BUT you need to get a place to stay and figure out what to bring and what to leave behind. You can leave a little note saying why you left. but don't say where you are going. If he is really as bad as you say he is, it's no good for the kids.
I say, get the heck outta there. But don't hold me to it if it doesn't go as planned. Alright?

Good Luck! (you'll need it!)
