how long is the normal wait for the results of an mri scan? i had mine back in january and ive not heard from them, called them last week and they said they will try and hurry the doctors up, it wudnt bother me really except i wud like t know what t shadow is on ma brain and why i keep losing my vision in ma left eye??

i constantly crack my ankles and i need to know if it is bad. My friends crack their knuckles and they say oh crap! i wasn't supposed to do that! but my other friend cracks her back and says her mom tells her its good to crack her back. Is cracking your joints okay or not??

I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom when I went to wipe it hurt. I looked down and noticed a reddish, purple bump. It looks like a blood blister. I dont know I how I got it or what exactly it is. What should I do about it?

ive been sick for 3 days now i have no time to go to the docters :[
ive been coughiong so hard and having fever up & downs.
Ive been drinking alot of fluids and having two types of medicns and iam stil sick. My mom might think i will have pneumonia or bronchitis.

That's all I'd like to know: What is intractable vomiting? I was in the hospital for vomiting and severe stomach pain (which they diagnosed me with food poisoning), and it said that my stated complaint was intractable vomiting. Does that mean uncontrollable? Does it mean that I vomited while I was sleeping? Does it mean I was vomiting bile? (Because all those were things that I told the triage nurse were happening, and I'm trying to figure out which one of those is what intractable means). Thank you very much!

my dentist said he was going to give me laughing gas and then iv anesthesia. will i still be knocked out after the procedure, or will i have the laughing gas effects? do i absolutely HAVE to have the laughing gas before the iv anesthesia? i would like to be as "non loopy" as possible :) i would like to avoid swearing or saying any embarassing comments... lol

A little background first. My father died when I was 11, My mother and stepfather both have cancer, and my stepfather is having further medical problems with circulation. I haven't had a steady girlfriend in years, and am still horribly bitter towards the longest lasting.

I have been told I have a type A personality except for my certain sensitivities.

I seem to think that I feel like I am partially female. Things bother me, people call me ultra sensitive, and I get bothered by decisions I make. I second guess myself constantly to make the best decisions, instead of just making one. I'm afraid about how I'm going to succeed in the future by what Im doing in college.

How does one harden up to become a man. I'm sick of not being taken seriously.

my last period was dec 16th. i had unprotected sex on dec 24th, took 3 hpt and even a blood preg test and they all came back negative. any one have any ideas of why im not getting it? i lost weight in jan but gained back some. and im not any more stressed then what i was when i was getting my period.

What constitutes a "large" cavity as opposed to a "small" cavity? Obviously size, I'm not stupid, but I've had cavities that the dentist has described as large and there's only what I would say was a tiny hole on the biting surface of the tooth. Is it more to to with how deep the cavity is or how big the diameter is or what?

Hello everybody, I have a question. I am about 5'8" and weight app. 130 lb. Actually I don't know what to say about how much I weigh. In the morning, when I weigh myself before breakfast or shower or anything, I weight around 125 lb. By the end of the day, I weigh sometimes as much as 137 lb. What is going on? I know that it is normal for you to lose some weight during the night, but 10+ lbs? Is that normal?
