It does sound like it can be bronchitis, it also sounds like you might be getting asthma. When I first started getting it a long time ago, I thought that I was just sick because I showed all the signs of having a throat cold. However when I finally did go to the doctor, I was diagnosed with asthma and had I waited another day I would have been hospitalized.
So make time to see a doctor. If it is bronchitis, and you ignore it, you could get seriously sick, possibly die if it gets too severe. As for pneumonia, if you had that you probably wouldnt even be able to move right now.

Well first you probably do have bronchitis. You need to clear up the congestion or it will turn to pneumonia. You have to get to a GOOD health food store and get a product call Clear Lungs by Ridgecrest Herbals and Sinus Clear by Ridgecrest. Then you need to boost your immune system with something like Wellness Formula by Source, Colloidal Silver is a natural antibiotic and so is garlic and oregano. Wild Cherry bark will help with the cough and so will peppermint and eucalytus on your chest. There are many other products that will help and I'm sure if you go to a good store (not GNC) you will get other recommendations as well such as homeopathics (ie, belladona for fever and sulfur for clearing congestion/infection for example).
If you are not comfortable with Alternative Med. then go get some Mucinex or Mucinex DM and take it faithfully.
FEVER indicates infection it is your bodies way of trying to kill the virus. You can do all the right things and it still continues to get worse. You either get to a doctors for the proper meds you need or you'll probably end up in the ER .
Be smart you'll miss more work if you end up in the hospital, make the time.

well if the cough is productive then that most often means you have an infection and that you should at least be taking some cough expectorent. that breaks up the fuild in your chest and lets you get it out with less strain. make sure you spit that out dont swollow it .
you may want to take some asprin for the fever.
keep up with the clear fuilds and no milk at all .
sleep and sit with lots of pillows propping you up most important at night that you sleep almost sitting up or even in a easy boy chair .
if your not better soon see your doctor. good luck and dont go out and spread this around thats just mean stupid and bad.

1st I want to say GET WELL SOON! But if your throat is bugging you, gargle warm water or warm salt water. It should help soothe it. Also, tea with honey helps a lot.
