I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom when I went to wipe it hurt. I looked down and noticed a reddish, purple bump. It looks like a blood blister. I dont know I how I got it or what exactly it is. What should I do about it?

It could be an ingrown hair. If not, you need to go have it checked out.

It might be the start of a herpes outbreak. Herpes is much more common than you think, so don't be embarrassed to go to the Doctor. The medicine has to be given right at the beginning of the outbreak to be most effective. You can get the medicine on hand to start early next time. There is also something new to take as a preventative for breakouts.

It is probably an ingrown hair. They hurt like crazy. I would try to use a loofah to scrub it with an antibacterial soap till it heals.

I totally agree with Kathy, if its not an ingrown hair you need to have it checked out.

Go to the GYNO it could be herpes. you could have it and not even know.
