What do you do when your just sad? I have no reason to be sad, really everything is going pretty good, but for awhile now I just don't have energy and just feel down. I try to force myself to get up an do something but it's pretty hard. I don't really think it's like depression or anything. What do you do to get back into a better mood? Thanks

I got shock by industrial bun toaster which had faulty power cord and on/off switch, at the time, I had a stanlise steel tray in each hand, steel cap boots and was not touching any other surface it was like I got a surge of electricity through me. There was no cut out switch in toaster, or building.
2 yrs ago I had a baby, It was stated at the time I had a irregular heart beat but there was no concern,I had emergancy c section to have my baby and there was no concern about my heart beat then, nothing was even documented. I am still undergoin testing and am currently on on medication to slow my heart beat down. I have approx 3 extra beats per 10 sec. Heart specalist says my heart is to weak to have been caused by the shock!

i'm 12 and in gym, we did aerobic dance & had to reach our targeted heart rate after like 30 min. we take our pulses for 15 sec, but then i get like 28-32 beats or pulses, when its suppose to be like 39 and up.

i've been swimming for like 6-7 years. is that something to do w/ it? is there something wrong w/ me?

i am 14yr old girl (15 next week) and im about 5'5.5". I weigh about 113 bs. I want to be a high fashion model and i am doing some local things now. my question is do you think i will grow to be at least 5'8"?my mom is 5'5"-5'6" and my dad is about 5'9"( i know a little short) but my grandfathers are both over 6'. i got my period when i was a little younger then 14 (about a year and 4 months or so ago) and my mom told me that you grow for 2 years after your period becomes regular (mine became regular about 3 months ago or so). I am not so convinced and i really want to achieve my dream! also i have scoliosis(its irrelevant to my height)but when the doctor took an ex ray he said i have no growth on my pelvis area which affects growth(he said it usually completes growth around age 14 and i am 14 and it has even shown up yet)lastly my joints have been very achy at night lately not nessisarily while im sleeping but does this mean im growing?id really like some feedback/info! thanks!

Today I got home from school and went to the bathroom because my stomach was hurting a lot. I pulled down my pants and in my underwear was a brown stain, with a bit of red smudged in. When I wiped, I came up with a rusty-red color. Is this just brown discharge or the real thing? I'd hate to tell my mom I had my period when I really didn't. I've been having discharge for a long time too, every day. I get the occasional cramps.
But it isn't really...flowing, if that's how periods work. It's just...there.
Some parts of it mildly clumped, if that helps in any way.

Thanks a lot for answering, guys. I really appreciate it.=]
I'll be glad to give more information of needed.

Does that mean the person who gets the blood will have it too? I know that they check for these things, but just pretend the tests didn't work that time or something.
Thanks.

I'm 5 foot 9 and I turn 19 tomorrow. Is there any chance for me to get to my desire height of 6 ft. My brothers are 6 ft. and were the same height as me when they were my age. Is there anything I can do to help increase my chance of getting to 6ft. Also, does any of those products from doctors actually work. Thanks.

I had my cartilage pierced about 3 or 4 months ago...it as sore at first, but then it was fine.
Now, all of a sudden, it is swollen and if the slightest pressure is put on it it drips a greenish yellow discharge and then blood. The top lobe where it is pierced is swollen almost double in size than the nonpierced side. It hurts badly and is gross...I took the earring out and tried alcohol on it, all that did was burn ... it remains swollen, oozing and painful. Any ideas how to rid the infection?

I had blood drawn three days ago to check for a specific bacteria (stomach related). I don't have insurance and paid up front for the test, $37. I recieved a letter today saying "your lab results required further testing...the additional lab charge has been added to your account". Attached is a bill for $37. There is no additional explanation. I really don't think I should be required to pay twice for the test. It isn't my fault an additional test was required. Of course, I don't know who's fault it is, but why am I paying for it? What do you think? What would you do?

I'm visiting in LA for medical reasons and learned of having pre cancer. doctor referrals so far not working. I have a rare blood disease, post splenectomy low IgM, more often is associated with patients with sickle cell and both conditions carry stigma and misconceptions among doctors. Most hematologists have never heard of the condition, Immunologists do know, but rarely help due to lack of experience. CDC says my case should be reported to public health to access the CDC for referrals. No doctor will. No primary doctor for 6 years. any experts are far across the country and local doctors don't make out of town referrals. went out of state before and was treated like a con artist and did not get referred to expert. Finding temporary housing out of town is hard as well.

Hi - anyone who has had anything to do with Geodon (especially if you are a doctor or pharmacist...) can you please tell me what you think about my Psychiatrist (of 3 months) wanting to prescribe Geodon to make my moods more stable??? I'm NOT BiPolar, nor am I Schizophrenic.

I have been living with Clinical Depression for nearly 20 years along with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I've been on various drugs for the depression and a couple for anxiety. This particular doctor has had me on Wellbutrin (which I don't think does anything for me) & Klonopin at night. Now she wants for me to add Geodon - but I don't understand...I suffer from depression, but have never in my life been manic in any way! Why would she prescribe Geodon? And, should I take it, or change doctors? Thank you!!!!

She needs a full time nurse to monitor her equipment and medicine. Social Security and a small compensation check should cover anything she needs. What I would like to know is does anyone favor a certain city for her health care.
