i'm 5'2 - 5"3 i think. do i need to loose weight? coz i don't really feel good about myself..any way i can loose some weight w/ out excersizing(sp?) too much? i do play sports outside but not as much. i do eat healthier nowadays.

But it's not that bad. You may need only to lose (at most) 10 pounds, but at 12, I wouldn't worry too much, as when puberty kicks in, it could disappear

For a 12 old I know it seems very hard, but you can loose the weight. You have to be very discipline. Try to cut your television watching and do some walking for the exercise part. For the eating; no sodas, big mac etc. Have your parents take you to the doctor to check up on your thyroid glands. Sometimes, you become overweight because they are not functioning probably.

At you age you really shouldn't be worrying about your age. Just try to eat healthily in normal size portions and take up some more sport maybe walk around the block every morning. At 12 weight shouldn't be what you are worried about

I'm a 6'1 160 lb football player. we have a lifting coach who tells us advice on this kind of stuff. Know whether you are overweight or somewhat obese. If it's just overweightness, it's not necessarily a bad thing. If there's that little bit of fat that you are trying to get rid of, do ab work everyday. sit ups,V-crunches(lying face up, bring hands and feet over body, touch toes) and/or 'bows and toes(lying face down, support your body using your elbows and toes for 30 sec. roughly). some of those may be a little extreme however.

eating healthy is a great way to start losing weight. excercizing is really important so if you want to lose weight you should excercize. u coule go on a diet like weight watchers but your too young. i suggest eating healthily and motivating urself in a way. like you could make a chart and if you eat no junk food for a week, you'll get to rent a movie or go to your fave restaurant
trust me -- you will c the difference!!

try swimming in the summer. i have the same problem i am at an ok weight but dont feel good about myself... try tennis or another sport.. summers coming up a great time to get active! :) good luck (im 5'4'' and 145 lbs. )

and at ur age u shouldnt rele worry to much about ur weight, but being concerned about ur health is.l no worries

I am 100 pounds and 13 years old. I am 5'6 and my friends call me anrexic which isn't any better. Eat healthy, exercise, and don't be as skinny as me or you will have the same type of problem.

ask your mother or a doctor height makes a diffidence, are you vegise and stay a way from fast food like burgars and drink 8 cups of water a day eat fish and chicken no gressy foods fried eggsand bacon,
