Drink a cup of Peppermint tea.
Celestial seasonings makes it and it's on the tea aisle at your grocery store.
It works great and is less cost than Pepto Bismol, etc.
Good luck

I use Tums for short-term relief. I also have a prescription for Prevacid. If you get it a little more than just once or twice a day, I recommend Pepcid Complete.
I have been diagnosed with Gasterol Esophigal Reflux Disease (G.E.R.D) so I suffer from heartburn everday.
