Today I got home from school and went to the bathroom because my stomach was hurting a lot. I pulled down my pants and in my underwear was a brown stain, with a bit of red smudged in. When I wiped, I came up with a rusty-red color. Is this just brown discharge or the real thing? I'd hate to tell my mom I had my period when I really didn't. I've been having discharge for a long time too, every day. I get the occasional cramps.
But it isn't really...flowing, if that's how periods work. It's just...there.
Some parts of it mildly clumped, if that helps in any way.

Thanks a lot for answering, guys. I really appreciate it.=]
I'll be glad to give more information of needed.

That's usually the way a period starts out. Early periods are so unpredictable and awful.
Try this: Treat yourself to a warm bath and 2 Tylenol
Eat something you really like for dinner.
Read or watch a movie that makes you happy.
Get a good night's rest and tomorrow
talk to your Mom.
Good luck

tremendous question! Now enable me get over my embarrassment. ok. the actuality of oneself is enlightenment. There hasn't ever been a time at the same time as the actuality replaced into no longer because the actuality is eternal. Enlightenment on the different hand is, new and clean always. that's now, that's continually now. there have been many who've suggested, "i'm the actuality" and maximum were misunderstood and or murdered. human beings truly imagine the homicide of Jesus replaced right into a magnificent issue for them. Now the way maximum folk were taught for someone to assert i'm the actuality or i'm enlightened {they both recommend a similar issue as in undemanding words the actuality is universal with enlightenment} human beings will imagine you're insane. that's a Bodhisattva's vow to no longer settle for enlightenment until eventually all beings are enlightened. Peoples conditioning is tremendous and if someone replaced into to come back out and say "i'm enlightened" they could turn faraway from the path no longer because of themselves yet because of conditioning. in spite of the undeniable fact that there is no longer some thing incorrect with one retaining this stuff, yet each each now and then that's more beneficial useful to conquer around the bush, with the purpose to talk, *wink*. ~ : )

Yes, you're getting your period. It can be a little abnormal for awhile, but if you don't feel right about it, see a gynecologist. You should always talk to your mom about what's going on with you, because maybe the same thing happened to her when she was your age.
I had a really bad stomach ache and I was unable to eat dinner so I went to bed. When I woke up the next day I had the exact same color on my underwear. And I went straight to my mom because I was scared. What us women have to go through.... lol

the clumps are normal, i get that too, it's a sign that u're about to get ur period, other than the cramps. dont take it too hard, nothing to be worried about. I dont think it's discharge, if it's a clump of blood then it's from ur period and it's totally normal, happens a lot. It will flow eventually, it's just the beginning.

I think it's the old "staining" routine. Your body is no doubt prepping for the real thing. Start carrying a sanitary napkin in your bag. Luck favors the prepared, you know what I mean? You don't want to make a mess of yourself and not be prepared. It happened to me once--not a pretty picture.

If you've never gotten your period before, this is probably your first time getting it. The first time, its like that. Well, it was for me, at least. Otherwise, if it IS brown discharge...you might wanna see a doctor. I don't think thats good.

That happens from me from time to time, maybe once or twice a year. It's just your body cleaning itself and working through some things. When I first got my period, it was gushing, so I'd be thankful if I was in your situation... especially since I was on a road trip with a guys baseball team. Ugh!

Yes that should be your period. Tell your mom and go to the drugstore to get pads/tampons before you stain your underpants.

yes I'd say you've just stared your period. thats how it is for most girls. its clotted and brown at first.

I'd say just talk to your mother, she's the one that can help you the most. not some stranger on the Internet.
