I'm 5 feet and 5 or 6 inches tall, and 185 pounds. I want to lose weight and count my calorie intake. How many calories should I have a day to lose weight?

Thanks!

PS. I also exersize at least 4 times a week.

I am a guy that cares about my health and looks and want to lose weight but almost every commercial I see for weight loss is only meant for women such as diet pills, diet food plans, and gyms/weightloss centers. Why don't they have stuff for both men and women or at least have the same amount of stuff focus on men's weightloss?

Is this the start of a heart attack?

Im 24 yrs old, 5'11, 15/16 stone, of average build with a little extra padding....all right all right... slighty chubby!

But seriously its starting to scare me, should i go to the quacks/hospital?

It happens about once maybe twice a week.

I'm currently with a guy who is uncircumcized and i am confused about a few things. He says it hurts to pull the skin back when it's hard well aren't u suppose to putll it back to put the condom on and wouldn't it make sex feel better if u did. He sits down to pee cause he says he can't aim shouldn't he just pull it back. I can't bring myself to go down there cause i've heard stuff about cheese and crackers. help

What exactly is comorbid anxiety? (I know what anxiety is obviously...just not the comorbid part) And, what type of medications are prescribed for it?
I have to see my doctor in a little less than 2 hours today and will probably be prescribed medication for it. I'm wondering if anyone else has this and if you know any medications that work well.

Just fyi...
I currently take Wellbutrin XL for Major Clinical Depression. (I used to take it and it worked well, but I stopped taking it in December and just started back up again this week)

they have no problem prescribing ssris. I've been on Paxil before and getting off it felt like I was getting off crack or heroine. I haven't been addicted to crack or heroine but I couldn't get out of bed, my joints hurt, nightmares, constant suicidal thoughts were only a few of the withdrawal symptoms. When I get pushed a drug like Lexapro by my doctor, I tell them, "no, thank you" The thought of going through what I went through with Paxil plus the massive weight gain that I have now just recently lost is enough to say, "There's no way in hell, I'm taking that crap again". But now I'm faced with the xanax situation. I take xanax every night to help me fall asleep and have been doing so for the past six years. Doctors don't want to prescribe it to me because of it's "addictive". Well, so are all those other meds they're pushing on me. I know because of the withdrawal I went through. Does anyone here agree with me? I feel the pharmaceutical companies are making doctors push these drugs

In the last few months I've been incredibly tired during the day. All I ever want to do is just go home and go to sleep. I'm only 22 and I'm not under a lot of stress or anything and I don't really have any serious health issues (that I know of). I've thought about going to see a doctor but I just wanted to see if anybody here has experienced this and what you've done about it. Or if anyone has any suggestions or advice, that'd be great.

when i was 18 i had my first Gyno visit and the dr. had found a lump in my breast. to make a long story even longer, i had a biopsy which thankfully turned out to be benign. A year or 2 later i noticed the lump had come back in the same breast, same gereral area, and was told it was just scare tissue but to keep an eye on it. Carry on having my routine check-ups and there's findings of one or 2 small lumps, dr. says for the most part i have fibrocystic breast(sp) which is generally normal and not much to worry about but still should be monitored AND to make for certain i was appointed to have an Ultrasound. However, i did not have the ultrasound done due to insurance issues but its been awhile since that last visit, am and now 24 and I know this is something i need to put top of my priority list as this is a very serious matter and can be life threatening.

I've got itchy, little red bumps all over those areas. I don't know what it is but nothing I do seems to make it go away. I think it's scabies. Though that's kind of odd because there are 5 people living in my house that I come in close contact with but only one other person seems to have it.

I got my IUD almost a year ago. I havent had any problems with it...actually I love it! The only things is that I've gained some weight. I go to the gym 5 days a week and cant seem to get rid of it. Also, after I eat, I have the biggest belly pooch...you would think that I was pregnant. So my question is, has anyone had weight gain as a side effect from having the IUD? I know the pill can cause this, but I'm not sure if an IUD can.

Since it is being sold over the counter, I was wondering, because it just seems to me that if it can be taken all time, young girls will use that instead of using condoms or other contraceptives.
