Like the person above me said, hamster teeth grow continuously, but it depends on how bad she broke the tooth. If it's broken down really far, it could be too hard for her to eat, and she will go downhill quickly by not being able to do so correctly. Hamsters rely on their teeth to crack seeds open and chew hard pieces of corn, berries. etc. I would keep a VERY close eye on her. Put just a tiny amount of food in her bowl and see if she hordes it. If she does, look carefully to see if she's having any trouble when she finally does eat it.

I would phone an exotics veterinarian just in case, though. An online diagnosis is not entirely reliable since none of us can see the severity of the case. Even if you can't afford to take her into the vet (since exotics ARE expensive), you can at least call and make an inquiry. If you don't know an exotics veterinarian, you can just phone a local veterinary hospital near you and ask them to recommend one. They should have a list there that can point you in the right direction.

If you do notice that she's not eating, you can get some baby food in a syringe..like carrots, and try to feed her that until you can get her to a vet. Not too much, but enough to fill her up. Good luck.

It depends how bad a fracture is. Hamster teeth grow continuously throughout their lives just like our fingernails. If a piece broke off it should grow back.
