Hi. I have three questions:
1.Is it worth trying another SSRI if three types [seroxat, prozac, effexor] have given too many side effects?
2.Are there other medications for social anxiety other than SSRIs? Are these generally worse?
3. Do people with social anxiety generally need to take medication forever?
Thanks

What is this? I'm the next heir to the family and I'm only going to grow to 5'5 (doctor said). My whole life I was told that i am a late bloomer and ill be 5'10-6'. Now it drops to a measly 5'5. My younger brothers and sisters have already beaten me in height. This is the most depressing time of my life. I hate being this short. I never got a girl even when i tried. Even the girls that are like 5'0. Girls are pretty tall these days... and I'm shorter than them. Is there a way to grow? Maybe Growth Hormone shots? I really need it I'm desperate.

In the UK the majority of health care professionals (including Drs, nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics) now have to show that they continue to update their skills and knowledge on a regular basis. It's not just enough for them to go on courses they have to reflect on what they have learned and show what impact this learning has had on their professional practise. Often they have to do this in addition to their full-time jobs. Do you think this is fair or should they be allowed time to develop their knowledge and skills during their working day?

I get this often, usually when I lift something too heavy. However it generally goes away in a few days after using a heating pad. Yet, this time, after 6 days, the pain is still there. Many friends tell me to go to a chiropractor, but I think this is muscular and not skeletal.

The pain is just to the left of the top of my spine, and it is not constant, just annoying. I can turn my neck with just slight discomfort, but I does hurt when I try and sleep on my stomache.

Any ideas as to what this is?
