The easiest thing is to eliminate liquid calories.
So if you drink soda, milk, juice, coffee, whatever just switch to water.
If you do nothing else, you will probably slowly lose weight.

I asked a professional who has helped me with everything, if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins. I used a protein based diet with Herbalife after a friend who had lost weight recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right path to choose. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. You also a get e free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it.
I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. The owners will advise you on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. The website is www.myhealthabc.com. You just leave your details and they call you up, I would suggest that if you aren’t sure or don’t want someone to ring you then go to their main site www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages. This is what I did before I went to the first site and left my details so they could contact me. You can see with all the products and detail they have, so you know that they mean business. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Since I had kids my weight has gone up and down. I have tried so many kinds of diets, pills, exercise programs/clubs, and drinks. The best way for me to keep the weight off is to cut out certain things. I first stopped consuming foods that were fried. I also limit all dairy foods. Just doing that has kept off the fat. If I reach a point where I seem not to loose any more pounds I try doing a little more exercise. But working 12 hours a day, having three kids and being single keeps me busy. I also won't eat any items from vending machines or fast food places. Try doing one of these then add new ones when you can.

You should start at the grocery store. Buy foods like green veggies, salads, fruits, water, or flavored water with no sugars, tuna, chicken, tilapia(fish)..you can get frozen fillets that are good with lemon&pepper seasoning. Quaker "weight smart" oatmeal, eggs (boiled) fat-free choclate pudding, chicken- stir-fry , turkey,cauliflower....and also get some icee-pops,they are good for snacks too. When you shop, think lowfat, high protein, and stay away from the little Debbies and cookie isle....stay in the produce section!!!! Then.....you jog or walk up your street early in the morning before you get a shower! Just throw on tennis shoes and take off!! If your just starting...dont go far, just enough to say you did it. Then the next day go a little farther. Before you know it, youll be sheeding pounds and feeling accomplished. It doesnt take but shopping and getting up a little earlier and you have made a lifestyle change. The rest will fall into place if you just DO IT!!!

Move. Even if you eat what you are eating now, moving will burn more calories than you are currently doing now. Start off slow, if you do too much, it will hurt and you will be more likely to stop.
Some other easy things to do are
Change to 100% whole wheat. Pasta, bread, flour, brown rice etc. Read the label, if it says enriched or bleached, don't buy it
Extra Virgin Olive oil. It is better for you than vegetable oil. When you read a label stay away from things that say partially hydrogenated. That is a solid fat and is bad for you.
Also on your labels:
Fiber content.....look for 4 grams or higher
stay away from sugar, fructose, glucose or any other thing that says -ose it is all refined and chemically altered sugar. Brown sugar is not better than white sugar, it is just white sugar with molasses added. Go for Raw sugar or Pure honey if sweetness is a must.
If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it.
If it sounds like a chemical, it is, don't eat it
Drink water. I add 1/8c of 100% juice to 1c of ice cold water. I do not like water much and this helps me drink it much better.
Hope these tips help. Good luck.
EDIT:
When you shop, stay on the out side perimeter of the store. That is where all the fresh stuff is. Prepackaged stuff and most frozen foods are not healthy choices.

Fewer calories, more exercise. It's as simple as that. Start by lowering your food intake, but maintain good (balanced) nutrition. Drop fats and oils down to 20% of your daily intake, lower your sugar intake as much as possible. Don't eat large amounts of pasta, potatoes, or rice, but also don't eliminate them. Second, increase your daily exercise, and do it in the morning if possible. Walk briskly every other day for at least 30 minutes - 45 is better. On the other days, get into some muscle-building exercises, like weight training or isometrics. Muscle tissue burns calories faster than fat tissue but takes up less space, and as you get rid of the fat tissue, you will start to look slimmer. Get and keep your weight within the healthy range - BMI of 18.5 to 25. You will look good if it's in the lower half of this range. There's a BMI calculator at http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

Thats a tough one as everyone is different.I can only tell you what worked for me.I used a powder drink call MetRX at GNC it is expensive but worth it.There are different flavors, peach, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla etc.Inside the box is a booklet that will tell you how many calories you can have in order to achieve your desired weight loss.It will show you exercises in the booklet and believe me,you will see results in a few weeks.Good luck, like I said, this is what worked for me.Also, when you work out, find some head banging music that will get you energized and pumped up for your work out.
