One of the few rules around our house is that you cannot use or imply the 'bored' word.

If someone slips and uses it, they are immediately beset with dozens of tasks, chores and community service projects.

We have found out, there is no time for boredom! I am medically disabled now, and I still don't have time for boredom!!!

Suggestion 1: Turn off the tv. After a week, you will start to think for yourself, and creative thoughts will start occuring.

2. Give your spare time to others. Help them with repairs, anything.

3. Learn! Learn a language, culture, a musical instrument.

4. Travel. Locally or worldwide. See how the rest of the world lives.

5. Teach: tutor, get a credential, be an assistant

6. Stretch: set a goal and really go for it

7. Drugs: rather don't do them (unless medically advised). They can sap the life out of you.

8. Sleep: most people don't receive enough rest are dealing with sleep deprivation

9. Depressed? Seek medical help or therapy

Remember, there is soooooooo little time in life, make the most of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
