don't even try popping it then, it will hurt and scab over. rub some tea tree oil or other pimple cream over it and don't keep touching it the germs from your hands will aggrevate it

I don't know how large it is, it could be a pimple or it could be a cyst, cyst's can grow very large, you would need to go to a DR and have it lanced, cysts are caused by ingrown hairs and can be painful at times
