During my recent bone scan, the person administering the test was on the phone for at least half of the time that I was lying on the table! I really should have said something to him at the time, especially since his call was of a personal nature. I'm angry at myself for not speaking up at the time this happened because now I have doubts about my results. What if he was distracted and missed something on the computer screen? The bone scan turned out to be negative but the xray I had prior to the bone scan showed I had a bone lesion. I suppose I wouldn't be so anxious if I didn't have this unrelenting bone pain. Are the bone scan images interpreted by someone other than the person administering the test? Does the person administering the test have to be on the look-out for any hot-spots that may appear on the screen? If anything, I hope my experience will encourage others to speak-up when they feel they are being treated in an unprofessional manner.

is it good to wear a sweatshirt and long pants even tho its hot already to sweat more. i live in florida and its hot here. is it good to do that to lose more calories?

my sister which is 12 yrs old already took motrin abiut 4 times and then took advil twice.the fever goes down for about 3,4,or 5 hours and then it comes back.she missed school today and half of yesterday and she does not wanna miss tomorrow.my mom keeps giving her soup so she'll get better but it doesnt work. her throat also hurts alot and she keeps coughing and has a runny nose. how can she get better? (and she doesnt wanna go to the doctor bc the doctor will just tell her to stay home again.)

Hi, I'm 26 and I have the ceramic braces on top, I don't have any braces on my bottom teeth. For some reason, I noticed that the ceramic braces are changing color on me. They are starting to turn yellow!! Which is making my teeth look yellow. I brush all the time everytime I eat. (At least 5 times a day) My bottom teeth look alot whiter then my top teeth. Is there anything I can do? I get my first visit to get them tightened in 2 weeks. Can they change the ceramic braces to make them white again? How does that work??

I was in class learning about how einstein taught that if you go the speed of light, time techincally slows down for you and goes normal for the people around you. So wouldn't time slow down if you sprinted a lot, meaning longer life expectancy?

i do a lot of upper body workout. i have a little pudge in my belly which i would like to get rid of, but i would also like to gain weight. i was thinking running would be my solution to loosing my pop belly, but would it eat away at my upper body muscles and wouldnt i be loosing weight instead of gaining?

The other day I washed myself with a bar of soap that contained sulfur and salicyic acid in my penile area and under my scrotum. I saw an irritation and applied neosporin on it. Eversince then I've noticed that everytime I urinate I get small pains in that area.

i am 36 and had a total hysto 6 months ago-everything removed cause of endometreosis- put on premarin all abso fine till 2 months ago when i developed a bloody awful head ache.Saw doctor after 2 weeks -he suggest it not premarin and to carry on but head ache continue -stopped premarin myself -saw my gynea and he told me to try patches. Anyway head ache eased as premarin came out of system but now i have patch on for a few days and head ache back -full on !!! feels like head is breaking!! at present future not to bright ! I now not taking any hrt -so as you can imagine i am having full on menopause symptoms !! not pleasant at all ! I am very confused and would just like to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this - and if so -any suggestions or advice.

I have never drank alcohol before and will be soon (birthday). I take my birth control everyday at night.

I was wondering if there is a good amount of time to start drinking after taking my birth control pill.

Being that I am a first time drinker, I really do not know how my body will react to alcohol or how fast I may or may not throw up.

So how long should I wait after taking my pill to drink alcohol?

I am taking Yasmin and have been taking it for about 2 years now. I have gained weight and have recently been getting mood swings and mild depression. i.e. I don't have a drive to do anything, I'm sluggish and easily irritated. If I get off the pill, is it likely that these symptoms will go away? I am not interested in switching to a different pill. What are some symptoms of going off the pill?
