Nope, unless your goal is heat stroke.

I actually don't run in sweat anythings. Cotton is terrible. I usually choose performance wear that wicks the sweat away from your body and keeps you feeling cool and dry (which is a must for winter running in the Midwest). If you are sweating to begin with, your body is overheating. Why do you want to cause your body more stress than necessary. Be good to yourself.

If your purpose is to lose more weight, that won't do it. the only thing you'll do is sweat more, so you'll be losing water, not fat. It will come back the minute you take a sip of water. Dress appropriately for the weather, so if it's warm wear shorts and warm up pants or a t shirt

No, its bad for you to be wearing sweatpants and a sweat shirt when hot outside. I have two question for you. Why do you want to lose weight? Why do you want to go on the diet?

If you are fat around the stomach, then make that part hot because losing sweat is good for you in that place. And I'm going to correct your sentence for the sake of it.

When running is it good to...

You spelt it too when it's meant to be to.

no, it's bad to do that. You are going to get dehydrated to say the least but could get overheated and have some complications.
