How tall are your parents? How tall are your Grandparents? How old are you? There are so many factors that will determine how tall you will grow. Do you have enough Iron? Has it been tested? Being *flat* for your age is also something not to concider. There *is* no flat for your age. Perhaps you will just be small breasted. Perhaps a late bloomer. You sound like you may be around 14. If I am right, then please relax and give yourself some time. You'd be amazed what a year can do at that age . Keep your spirits up. Unless your Dr. has said something specific and direct, just let nature take its course :0)

Listen to your Mom. Some people just take longer than others to "catch up". You probably aren't going to be very tall....but taking growth hormone shots are not good until the doctor advises it.

My grandson went thru a lot of slow growth stages...but now at 15 has started to catch up. He will not ever be really tall....and it took quite a bit of time.

So be patient....there is a day coming when looking five years younger will be a blessing!

Your mom is right!

If you are concerned with your growth you should have a visit with an endocrinologist. The doctor will search for different things that may cause the symptoms that you have. Some girls have Turners, which is something that affects the growth in girls and the duration of your menstrual cyle or lack of. you could just be a little slower in the puberty stage than others.

You can't get human growth hormones with out a prescription. You need to talk your options over with your doctor. There could be something physically wrong, it could be hereditary. Find out what the problem is before you make any decisions.
