Okay. I smoke a lot. And carry salt around with me and pour it on everything. The doctor said I have very low cholesterol, (under 120) What does it mean to haver low cholesterol? Especially when it prob. should be verrry high??

Has anybody on here been refferred by your doctor to go talk to a mental health clinic to see if your depressed, are biopolar, or to find out the reason for anxiety attacks?? My doctor has asked me to go and talk to somebody but im very reluctant to and keep pushing people away who are trying to help. SOOO .. If you have been in this position , what happened when you went? ... how did you feel? and did it help at all going to talk to somebody

Am I the only girl around here that knows how BAD birth control is for you? Fisrt of all, it really increases the chance of getting diseases because it weakens your immune system. Then, since it thins your uterus, if you get pregnant while on the pill, it aborts your baby before you even know you were pregnant! SO WRONG!!! The longer you are on it also dcreases the chance of you getting pregnant later when you really want to. Just think about it people. Just wait until you are married and then there are no problems... seriously.

For the past two days I have woken up with my entire right side severly weaker than my left. I'm droppping things, almost falling on my behind and feeling totally exhausted just trying to make it through the day. In the past I have had my entire body go semi numb, you know that prickly feeling when your foot has fallen asleep. Though this time its a different type of feeling I am very concerned. I don't have any type of insurance to go to the doctor. Anyway, can someone tell me what's wrong? Anyone else ever had these symtoms?

Well, is it bad to take aspirin twice a day? well, there's a person I know, he takes aspirine twice a day. He always have head ache, and complains that his legs hurts. He said he's going to the doctor, but I don't think he will. please tell me why does he have head ache all the time? is it because he takes aspirin too much? is it safe?

I find that while my periods are lighter on this pill, they are still quite heavy. I also find it difficult to take the pill at the exact same time every day due to uni, work and another medical reason which makes me sleep alot. I have weaned myself off Zoloft as I suffered from depression last year. Does depo provera stop your periods or will I still keep getting them? Also when in your cycle should you get your first injection?

I feel nauseous all the the time. I was just looking for some opionions on what could be causing this. Im not pregnant. I do take prilosec for frequent heartburn. I was dignoised with gastritis a few years ago. the start of a ulcer. Im not sure if thats the problem or could it be another stomach disorder. Is ther anythign that will help with it? I just graduated from college so now im off my parents insurance. I'm almost sure I have a UTI. I haven't called my normal dr yet but do you think they would still see me if I dont have insurance anymore? how much might it be for the visit and the antibiotics? if not what are some low cost options?

My doctor just prescribed 37.5 mg of Ultracet every 4 hours for pain. I had a past problem with narcotic pain relivers in that I became addicted to them. Thankfully, with rehab I was able to overcome it. I was advised NEVER to take any narcotic. Is Ultracet consider a narcotic? I told my doctor I could not take any narcotics. My pharmacist said this was considered as being in the same class as narcotic pain relivers. Please help so I will not have to endure the pain of the dependence again!!

Is it possible to sleep all night without waking up? It seems like I always wake up after sleeping 4 hours, then I have to struggle to get back to sleep. I think it's because of my former roommate, who used to set his alarm at 5a.m. to go to work. My brain is probably wired to wake up around that time now. How do I fix this problem, and has anyone else experienced this?

My daughter just threw up twice and her tummy is sore. I've given her half a gravol (as recommended on package) but not sure what to do to ease her sore tummy. It's 10:30 at night and I'm not going to run her to the hospital for a flu bug, just wondering what I can do to ease her upset tummy without any more medicine?
