I would strongly advise you to find another way of losing weight. Laxative abuse is very dangerous. First of all, most of the weight loss would be water loss and not fat loss. Laxatives can slow down or stop the absorption of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Lack of these things can make you weak and can lead to severe illnesses. Dehydration is also a problem. Also, you can become dependent on laxatives for regular bowel movements.
Please please please don't use laxatives as a weight-control method- it's very unhealthy.

I understand you want to take the laxatives however there are serious health risks!!!
You should consider another diet plan. This is very unsafe. Each body will react different even if you only take one or two pills.. If you already have a regular system this may only cause intense diarrhea and vomiting. With A LOT of cramping!
Taking these pills can also cause your body to become dependent on the pill to have a regular bowel movement. So long term you would not be losing any weight.
Yes you would lose weight but have you considered other diet plans? Water?

Using laxatives to lose weight is very dangerous. Laxatives cause severe diarrhea which results in the loss of too much fluid and electrolytes. You end up dehydrated and with a major electrolyte imbalance which affects every system in your body.

You shouldn't go to extreme measures such as laxatives.
It can damage your body very badly. Your intestines and bowels will become used to having chemicals pushing things through, and making things move. Then when you stop, you won't be able to go naturally, and this will cause serious intestinal damage.
There are many more healthy and effective ways to lose weight. Good luck!

Laxatives are meant for getting your bowells moving when you are constipated.
Over use, or long term use will result in your bowells not moving anything along any more.
Parastalsis, is the movement of the intestines and this can be ruined by laxatives.
It is not worth the risk, try eating less and excercising more.

Laxatives are not intended to be used for this reason. They should only be used when you are constipated. Using them regularly for weight loss can cause lazy bowel (your bowel will decrease in movement & cause problems) & you will have to depend on them always. The safest way to lose weight is a healthy diet, drink plenty of water & exercise. PLEASE don't use laxatives for this reason!!

Its very bad for you. Don't use laxitives for weight loss. Even if you manage to lose a few pounds, its your eating and exercise habits that are why you're overweight. You can't use laxitives forever. Change your lifestyle if you want to lose weight.
If you use laxitatives for weight loss you'll soon find out you simply '"cannot go'" without them.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
