You can literally get zits anywhere. Anywhere there is pores. Sounds like a blocked hair duct, called folliculitis and is just another word for a type of pimple. Could just be caused by an ingrown hair, sweating, or just friction from your underwear. Put some rubbing alcohol on it. It'll help.

Hey, you don't have to shave to get those. Anywhere that there is a big concentration of hair follicles, you have the chance of getting a few that are blocked, and when this happens, you get a bump. Main thing to remember....leave them alone. Don't squeeze them and don't pop them. You could force infection back into the bloodstream and that could be bad. Try to ignore them and they'll go away. And practice good hygiene.

Question: Do the pimples appear to be along the line of where your underwear rubs? If so, check your undies, is there exposed elastic that comes in contact with your skin? I had the same problem, and discovered that I had developed a latex/rubber sensitivity, and anywhere material of that type came in contact with my skin would break out in these awful and sometimes painful pimples (my underwear, bra straps and even certain types of nylon stockings). You really need to try to talk to your doctor about this (trust me, I know its embarassing) and see about having a dermatologic allergy test done. Its not anything immediately serious, but over time the body can become more and more sensitive and could possibly become a very severe allergic reaction that can be life threatening. Don't worry about that at this point, but it wouldnt hurt to find out so you can be sure. Many people who arent aware of allergies end up getting blindsided one day with anaphalactic shock.
Seriously though, swallow your pride and ask your doctor for a referal to a good dermatologist and get tested, and in the meantime it wouldnt hurt to invest in underclothes that do not have any latex or rubber elastic materials getting in contact with your skin, they are hard to find sometimes but well worth it.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Even if you don't shave, this could be because of ingrown hairs... It should clear up, but if it doesn't, there may be something out of wack having to do with your hormones. If you do become sexually active, it may be embarassing so you may want to see a doctor to see what they can do [acne medicine, birth control, etc]. So if it goes away, don't mind it.
