Chronic aspirin use could lead to stomach ulcers, or bleeding elsewhere in the body. Anyone with a chronic headache should be checked by their doctor. Many times with exam and history,no further workup is needed. Things I think of are :allergy problems, seasonal or food: migraines: more serious things like tumors. Maybe he could keep a diary of when they hit, food he eats and what he's doing. It might help the doc diagnose him. Hope he feels better soon.

He will need to see his Doctor about the headaches, quite impossible to tell what may be causing it. As for the aspirin, taking 2 a day is very dangerious as aspirin thins the blood and stops the coagulation properties. So if your friend were to cut himself or have a heavy fall, he will bleed and the blood wont be able to clot.

Try giving him paracetamol
