My tongue got horribly scalded on some instant rice (I didn't drain it well) and I was looking at it in the mirror and noticed red spots in the area I burned it, one of which was dark red. I thought maybe it was just something on it, so I scrapped at it with my finger nail. Well its blood. I've never had this to happen so I was wondering what I need to do, gargle salt water or such?

I stopped wearing my earring about 6 years ago. I just had one ear pierced. About 1 month ago, and again starting yesterday, I've had swelling and pain where the hole 'used' to be, which I can only guess is an infection. I don't ever remember having an infection before the occurence 1 month ago (while I had just written off at the time since it was the first time). Is this normal? Don't want to end up losing an ear or something! Thanks.

I have a fasinationw ith serial killers, everything about them. what they do, there history, and why they do it. I read all the books/ watch the movies and i think its really intresting.

I am having a debate with a friend and would like some other opinions.

What makes a young, teenage girl to be promiscious? What causes them to go bad, do drugs, smoke, drink..etc...

Is it bad parenting, neglect, a parent holding on too tight?

I think it's sad when a young lady does this. I feel that it is simply no self respect, and usually regretted in the later adult years.

Yes its true. I have never experienced one. I am only 19, but most girls my age still have experienced it. Is there something wrong with me? Why is it so difficult for me to achieve this? My boyfriend and I have tried almost everything besides sex toys. Should we give that a try? Would that help with stimulation. I'm shy so normally I wouldnt ask such a question but I figure no one really knows me on here. Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

His temperature has been 99-101. He has also had a bad cough and a runny nose which seems to have gotten better in the last 24 hours. He is complaining of back, abdominal and chest pain (muscles) which i think is from coughing so violently. The fever is being controlled with tylenol. Should I worry or is whatever he has just going through its course. When should I bring him to a doctor?
