Back in June of 2000 I had a VBG done (Vertical Banded Gastroplasty) from 2000-2005 I was terribly ill with vomiting and infections and debreedments and hernias. By the middle of 2006 my surgery had failed me. The staples in my stomach got out of alignment and the ring or banding above my stomach disappeared. Now I have two hernias located at my belly button with bowel loops that were obstructed. The surgeon I saw wants to perform a Gastric Bypass and once in there doing that he will repair my hernias. Has anyone ever gone through a Gastric Bypass and if yes, did you experience any unpleasant possible dangerous life threatening complications? I really would like to know this. I'm terrified to be cut open again to face the same stuff I had already gone through before. Serious answers only please. Thank you.

I have a question about puberty. I got my first period when I was 10. Now, I'm 18, does that mean, I will no longer become taller or become more of a woman because I went through my puberty when I was 10 ???


My height is 5/5 ........

I was just worried about what if I look like this 15 year old girl in my 20's. That's going to be scarey.

could it be gallbladder? SEVERE pain - middle chest area, right below throat. have had ekg's done etc - NOT my heart....have taken prilosec, antacids - DOES not work - went to dr. and he said possibly gallbladder..has anyone else had this? pain is so bad its' starting to be scary, darveset isn't even killing the pain! dr. assures me everything is "ok"! right in the middle - pressure, tightness...???

Also, my boobs seem to have shrunk. is this physically possible? Before a 32 A was a pushup on me and now I JUST fill it out...well maybe a little more then just but you can tell they shrunk because even my friends noticed!!!

I get them a lot...and I dont know what causes them. Some people say its lack of sugar but even if I just ate a lot of sugar I might still get one. How do they feel for you? My vision becomes black and I get so dizzy that I have to fall on the floor or something. I also never get headaches. I dont know if they relate or not.

for the last two month i have been suffurring from scabies,i tried a lot of medicine as benzyl benzoate lotion & eurax lotion with some anti-allergic tablet but while using these treatment then i don,t feel any itching but as i stop it then again itching begin to start pls suggest?

It seems to me that cardboard applicators are hard to use. They don't glide as smoothly as the plastic applicators and they get stuck so you can push the tampon in. They are also hard to keep a grasp on them while inserting them. Is it just me? Plastic applicators just seem much easier.

me and my friend are really close. we barrow each others stuff and one time she barrowed my new cheetah flats(that i never wore b4). when she gave them back to me, they smelled so bad. the next day she told me she had a sweaty feet problem and it made her feet, shoes, && socks smell horrible. she asked for my help but i didn't know what to tell her. i think it's becuase she puts lotion on her feet, cause she also had dry skin.....well please help so i can help a friend thanks

alright guys / gals.. so between my legs i have pubic hair of course that i keep trimmed etc etc you know the drill..

anyways, as the day goes on i can actually smell something that's coming from that region.

so when i get home i obviously check it out and it smells soooo bad and this has been happening for sooo long.. it's the weirdest smell int he world.

I'm sure a lot of you have this, but what is it? is it normal? and why does it happen??

If any of you have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) can you please tell me what kind of tests you have to do and what really happenes to you? im 17 and my growth plates are still open and i am currently 5'4.5. the problem is is that i have had a dropped voice and a lil bit of mustache since i was 13. now im kind of worried that im falling behind. my younger siblings are all tall. i get the short end of the stick and now i may have to live like this the rest of my life.... it is a shame as i am the oldest. and at my place, the girls are like 5'8+. sweet i get to be shorter than girls here and are hot. i think it is very wierd to have a gf taller than me. is there a way to grow? i dont think i would want to be at the level of someones **** my whole life.... the doctors predict i will have 1 more inch.... great... lol and my whole childhood dream was to be taller. i guess ill never fulfill that dream...

For the past couple of days I've been unable to sleep more than a couple of hours a night. This week I've gotten less than 16 hours of rest. I'm not taking any medications, no caffeiene, no liquor... I only take vitimins. I have no idea why I'm unable to close my eyes for more than a few minutes and my thoughts aren't as sharp as usual. For the past couple of weeks I've been manic, a serious case of cabin fever, I've spent money recklessly on clothes and shoes that I don't need. I won't go back to my apartment because its so lonely, so I'm staying at my mom's. I have't been home really since late October because of a break in... I'm running in circles and its all I can do to go to work in the morning. That's the only structure I have at the moment. What can I do? I'm unable to go by a schedule because it only frustrates me, I never know what time it is until I have to rush to work... and everybody thinks I'm so collected and calm. I need some suggestions, please, help?
