How do ya keep the levels normal? I think my levels are to low.

Wow when you wake up your levels are extremely low and sometimes at night too. The best way to raise your levels and maintain them (providing you can tolerate this) is a glass of whole milk either before you go to bed or directly after you wake up. Are you taking any diabetic medications? Have you told your doctor about all of this? You really should seek medical attention for this. Diabetes is no fun I know. I've been diabetic since 1996 and it has been one heck of a roller coaster ride for me! Continue to monitor and log your sugar levels and if the whole milk thing doesn't help you, I strongly suggest that you seek the advice of your family physician. You don't mention the type or dosage of medication you're taking for your diabetes, or the time(s) at which you take it. I had similar problems with my glucose levels being low in the morning (60 - 80; sometimes even lower) before breakfast, and higher(145-170) in the evenings. But, under the advice of my doctor, I changed the time at which I took my Lantus injection (long=lasting insulin) from night/bedtime to morning, after breakfast, and this helped not only raise the level before breakfast to a normal level, but also lower the evenings to a more normal level also. Timing of insulin injections for type 1 diabetics is just as important as dosage, particularly when using longer-lasting insulins like NPH, or Lantus with quicker-acting ones like R or Humalog/Novalog.

The fastest way to raise a blood sugar is orange juice. I use a pb & j sandwich with regular jelly, not sugar free. Might be better for mornings if your hungry.
